ROACHES AND MICE

Terrible what else can I say roaches and mice and they do nothing about it

Roach infestation

Please beware! These apartments are roach and mice infested. My building was moreso roach infested which is why I decided to move out. They blame tenants instead of making sure they keep up with routine extermination. Tenants have to pay for their own extermination. I've complained several times to management with no resolve. The regional manager is a joke and has a very bad disposition. I was standing outside of the office one day and heard her telling the property managers to write good reviews online as if they are tenants. The property management is very unprofessional and you literally have to beg them to do what they are supposed to do. Maintenance request take months for a response (if they ever even respond). I paid for garage parking and my car has been broken into, which was a surprise bc this neighborhood is very peaceful. There are no cameras. The buildings are no longer under Brick and Mortar, they are under Athene Property management but they still have the same poor staff. The rent is too high for the dated ,poorly maintained, infested apartments. The units could be so much better with updates as simple as fixing holes, cracks, and paint. The floors are loud,it sounds like someone is walking your apartment but it was just the neighbors above me- no good foundation. Bottom line,don't move here. Since moving out my life has been so much better. The roaches were driving me crazy and I've spent hundreds on trying to o solve the problem that should have been solved by management.

Avoid all "Brick and Mortar" apartments

Staff is impossible to get a hold of, even if you go into their office they have no answers and are unprofessional. Heat is not included, gas and electric is in your name and they charge $90 for water every month. Roach/mice problem, and all the windows are rotting/falling apart. Also recently added a $65 monthly internet charge even if you do not use the internet they provide you still get charged due to a clause in the lease saying they can do so. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Horrible management

The management is impossible to get a hold of, and when you finally do, they are rude and unhelpful. It often takes a month or longer to get simple repairs done. The building itself is infested with roaches and mice.

Not sure what's worse, management or the roaches

Building is infested with cockroaches and has mice that live in the walls and raid your pantry. Management is rude, unresponsive, and they raise the rent 10% every year despite not having upgraded my apartment at all.

Mice infested.

The apartment is mice infested and the management won’t take care of it even after multiple complaints. They are driving out old tenant and slapping in vinyl laminates and renting at rents 50% higher calling it as upgrades when they are simply ignoring the mice living inside the walls of the building.

Spacious, One Bedroom Apartment

This apartment is lovely. It's in a great old brick building, marble tile in the stairwell, and ten foot high ceilings. Crown molding in nearly all the rooms, hardwood floors, and a brand new countertop in the kitchen. The price is reasonable for the area, which is beautiful, and it's a fifteen minute walk to Case Western Reserve University. The landscaping outside the building is kept very neat, and security is good. The majority of tenants are young professionals either attending or working at the university. The only downside is the old windows, which are sure to be drafty in the winter. There are storm windows however, which should reduce the amount of cold air flow. All in all, it is a wonderful place to call home in Cleveland Heights!
