Been in for 2 months. Have had a flood in kitchen almost every day. Area manager not interested in helping. No one should have to live like this!!!

They have cute apartments for a good price and the complex is well kept. They have high standards which is good. Staff will get back to you in decent amount of time along with maintenance. While some requests are over the top they love to help in any way they can.

I lived on this property for 2 years and don’t have any complaints. I have lived a few other places around the area and what made this property stand out was the excellent staff. You don’t realize how much that makes a difference until you have bad staff and nothing gets done. I recommend this property, not for the amenities but for the outstanding staff, specially their assistant property manager.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. The exterior look is ok, the interior is very basic (nothing of quality - countertops, appliances, carpet, doors, walls, etc. are all cheapest of the cheap). The price for what you get is outrageous (easily $300 over what it should be). People at the office seem nice and quick to respond until you live here. I have waited two weeks for a call back from the office regarding a mess that maintenance made not once, but twice. Another tenant that I spoke with had their A/C out for 4 weeks before maintenance finally did anything when A/C outage is considered "emergency maintenance". So, if you have any non-emergency maintenance issues, you might not get it fixed during your lease.

I know we have communicated with you regarding these matters and tried to remedy the situation. In regards to the other tenant, that situation was addressed and the Resident was updated regularly regarding the HVAC company and the work on her apartment that was being completed by them. It is a great place to live . Close too everything , you don't have to drive miles if you don't want too. It has a wonderful pool always clean . everyone is so nice.

This apartment complex was a great place to live a year ago, but things have really gone downhill. They recently replaced our shower heads and sinks that significantly decreased the amount of water pressure. They increased the rent after we renewed our lease with no option to negotiate. They only spray for bugs once a year, despite the fact that this complex is surrounded by natural landscape. That being said, we have had a lot of stink bugs, fisher spiders, etc. enter the apartment everyday despite keeping a clean apartment. The maintenance staff has a high turn over rate, and it usually takes 5-6 visits before someone can figure out how to fix a problem. Our fire alarms are faulty and go off randomly, keeping us awake some nights. Very disappointing and will be moving when my lease ends.

Rent increases every year. Water/sewer is twice what I was paying before Greystar switched billing companies. Not only are other utilities added to the bill, the bill is now added to the rent, and due with rent payment. If youre in a jam because of covid-19, and need to pay your rent 2 weeks late, there is a 10% late fee, that Really makes it hard to pay rent. The staff has also changed, and some are very curt. Ive lived here for over 10 years, and had enjoyed living here for the first 8 until new ownerships took over. I now look forward to moving when my lease is up.

The Overlook at Stonemill is a very nice neighborhood to live in. The grounds are kept up, and provide a lovely nature scape. Its mostly quiet, although the highway is close by. When all the windows and doors are shut, its soundproof. On the patio, I sort of like the steady sound of the traffic though because of our healthy American lifestyle; the sounds of motion I can compare to the sounds of the ocean (where we used to live). Sounds of Motion vs Ocean - both have a comforting sound. Life is good!

This is a great place to live as a college student or as an adult. I enjoyed taking walks around the area and all of the staff are so nice. I have greatly enjoyed my 2 years here at Stonemill. The apartments were always clean, nice, and bright. The maintenance requests were always completed fast and done to satisfaction.

Stonemill has been such a great place for me and has fit my needs so well. They are eager to help in any way and keep the grounds looking so beautiful. It is definitely dog friendly and has been the best place to raise my Golden Retriever who requires a lot of exercise. I highly recommended Stonemill to others!

My husband and I love living at the Overlook at Stonemill. It is one of the safest apartment communities in Lynchburg and is well cared for and quiet. We love our top-floor unit, 24-hour emergency maintenance, and beautiful scenery. I couldnt ask for a better first apartment!

The Overlook at Stonemill is an amazing place to live in Lynchburg. You are conveniently located near a ton of stores and restaurants without having to drive on Wards Rd. While the interior of the apartments are bit dated, the layout is very spacious and the exterior is charming and tucked in a quiet neighborhood.

Office staff not very friendly. We have had maintenance issues which could be avoided with a little pro-activity. Mostly younger crowd not at all what we expected and parking violations go uncorrected as well as trash all around. Don't be fooled by the price plenty of better choices

Nice quiet and clean facilities BUT you will NOT receive your deposit when vacating and will be lucky if you are not charged an additional fee for something.
