We went to the office to find out about a handicap parking spot and when we got back from the store it was already up Thank you so much for getting that done We also had a problem with the air conditioner and Taylor sent the man right over to check it out it needed Freon he put it in and it works very well now. The guy in the office is horrible. He doesn’t fix anything or respond to any messages. If I was that much of a failure at my job I would be fired. Place is way over priced. He is trying to make the complex something it’s not. A lot better rentals around the area than this place.

Manager was very knowledgeable and worked to secure me a studio apt. I ended up not needing it weeks before it opened. I would highly recommend Oakwood, I could tell Manager was very upfront and professional and would work to help anyone.

I have been living here now just under a year (2 months away from 1 year). I actually love it here. Everytime something is broken in my apartment, I can tell Carol (property manager), and they will come fix it within 2-3 days. The only 2 downfalls that I have living here is that 1: I love to eat, and it is so close to resturants that I eat out all the time (I know, my problem). However the second down fall I have, is the speed bumps. I feel as there is way to many. I can understand the 2 at the entrance, however I feel as the others are unnecessary. To get to my apartment, I have to go over 5 speed bumps. I know that this complex is very family oriented, but I feel as it should almost be common sence to slow down if you see children. Just to get to the back on the right side is 5, but if you live on the left side, you only have to go over 1 after you pass the stop sign. Again, dont get me wrong, I love it here. The rent is reasonable for the area, although i fell like it could be just a little cheaper, it is still reasonable. I feel safe living here.

Oakwood Apartments in Newton,NC is a great place to live because it's nice and clean, as in freshly painted walls and new carpet when I moved in almost 2 years ago. The grounds are well maintained, we have beautiful flowering and non-flowering trees that change with the seasons. I moved here in the month of October, and the second I pulled onto the property I knew I wanted to live here because there were trees of every color all along the driveway into the complex, orange, brown, gold, red and green, it was just beautiful! The property manager is friendly and helpful, and I often see her walking around the complex picking up stray soda cans or trash that might be lying around. The maintenance crew is great, and anytime I've ever needed them they were there within minutes. I rent a two bedroom, two bath apartment that has lovely vaulted ceilings. All my friends think my apartment is really nice, and so do I. I love calling Oakwood Apartments Home.
