Don't move to this place, it's full of mice, and the staff doesn't pay attention to it. The pest control only puts out things with peanuts that the mice don't even eat. The glue traps don't work. I've asked for help and the staff is very arrogant. I can't wait to get out of here.

I strongly advise anyone considering moving here to drive past and seek residence elsewhere. The management company's lack of responsiveness and action towards resident concerns is nothing short of appalling. Despite numerous attempts to address issues, it seems as though our grievances fall on deaf ears. Attempting to reach anyone via phone is an exercise in futility, as no one ever seems to answer or return calls. This lack of communication only adds to the frustration and sense of neglect experienced by residents. As a result of these ongoing issues and the lack of accountability from the management, I am currently in the process of filing a formal complaint against the property. It's disheartening to have to take such measures, but the disregard for resident well-being and satisfaction leaves me with no other choice. AGAIN.... I implore anyone considering moving to The Oaks at Oxon Hill to reconsider. The management's trifling behavior and lack of action speak volumes about their commitment to providing a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

The staff are incredibly rude, condescending, and uncaring. There are obvious organization and communication issues within their offices. It is impossible to get anything actually fixed, and they don't care about actually fixing it, just slapping band-aids over the issue and calling it a day.

I have been in these apartments for a total of three years or more, and seen it change hands in management companies with the same problems. The reason I chose these apartments is because it had a pool and have not been able to swim in it since moving in. I gave the other company a pass because it was really during Covid but i has seen community pools open all over Maryland and elsewhere. My laundry room area has been down to one dryer for months and now its down to one washer. My neighbors are complaining of air conditioning problems and just moved in. By the time we get to swim again, it will be winter and we are paying for these amenities. I wonder how much they factor in each month for broken pools and washing machines and dryers.

This by the worst place I’ve ever lived. The apartment was poorly kept up inside. When I moved in I put in multiple tickets to fix stuff and roaches was infested. I had three floods and patching was so bad. Stay Away. The common grounds are not taken care of.

I’ve visited here multiple times to see friends and relatives. It’s not bad it’s just not what it’s portraying. They need a new paint job because the black paint(not orange) is chipping. They don’t have daily or at least weekly maintenance outside getting spider webs or making sure they outside is well kept to add to the reasons of someone wanting to stay. Not all bathrooms look like the picture. Actually I’ve never seen any bathroom like that. However the bathrooms aren’t bad at all unless the person who lives there makes it that way. The area is not the best but it’s decent because the mgm and tanger outlets, and other shopping centers aren’t far.

I called the property last week to set up a time to tour and was greeted with a bit of an attitude. I spoke with a woman whose name I can’t quite remember but I know it started with an R. Yesterday I decided to tour against my better judgment and toured the community with Markeita. I walked in through the wrong door not realizing it was the management office. She immediately stood to greet me with a smile, and that made me feel extremely welcome. Although I did not lease because I have a 70-pound dog she was very helpful and gave great insight to the community and neighborhood as I am from Texas and have no clue about the area. The model apartment was very spacious and if the weight and breed restrictions change, I would apply with Ms. Markeita. Her personality was very warm and inviting.

I was homeless with my daughter who was pregnant at the time; I was sitting and praying that when I apply for this apartment and God comes thru I will make this my forever home. So I made the phone call to the rent al office "Oaks at Park South" and talked to Markeita. Markeita shared with me their rent specials, available units as well as the process for applying for an apartment. So, yes I applied and within minutes I was approved??. I spoke with Markeita about my disability and asked if she had units on the first floor and she told me she would do her best and she did. I was too excited. This community is very involved; when the school bus comes morning & afternoon there is always a staff member looking out over the children. If you are running late to get your babies off the bus guess what they can sit in the rental office until you get there!?? The staff are AWESOME??. Maintenance and the cleaning crew are on point when it comes to a clean hallway and fixing your clogged sink??. Oaks at Park South is my Home and Home is where the heart is??. My family has been here almost 5 years and I now have 3 grand babies. Thank you so much Oaks at Park South apts.

Mice infestation and they don't fix the holes! Mice everywhere

They have mice and they don't come and patch the wholes up. My husband has to bring stuff from his job to patch the wholes up !!!

Had mice two weeks after moving into the apartment. All they did was put down traps that didn't work. Maintenance takes forever to fix anything. Also they will try and say they fixed something when they didn't.

I Just Moved In On The First Of April, Today Is June 2nd And I'm Ready To Move. They Are Trifling... They Have Mice In The Walls, Spiders And Ants... Lord Knows What Else... When I Saw The First Mouse Last Week. I Called Everyday About It And They Have Yet Too Do Anything... I Went Out Snd Bought My Own Traps. So Needless Too Say They're Not Getting There May Rent From Me.

Mice, bed bugs and other critters crawling. Security is a joke. Poor management.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY. SPACIOUS, CLEAN, QUIET. AWESOME LOCATION. WONDERFUL VIEWS AND AMENETIES. I DEFINITELY SEE MYSELF HERE FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS. CLEAN COMMUNITY POOL. LAUNDRY ROOMS. AMPLE PARKING. GATED COMMUNITY.

This place is a good place live 5 min walk to the metro bus stop 10 min walk to the gym the staff is good it could be better but overall its a very good place

I found my apartment on apartment.com using "current location" the first place I went to and I instantly fell in love. I love everything about my place I don't plan to move out until I'm ready for a house

Oaks at Park South would be my dream apartment if only the previous management took care of the property. I have plenty of space and all the rooms are a nice size. There's not a lack of closet space. Everything needs to be updated. With new management lots of changes have taken place. Hopefully they will do the necassary updates and not drag their feet.

This apartment Is ok but not good for the money they want they do not fix anything in your apartment I need to go but need help with that

it wasnt no good at all . Nothing been done. To much loud noise . I did enjoy area and the view of it ! I would like to live eles were !
