Oak Vale Apartments

I've lived at Oak Vale for almost three years now, and it's wonderful in every way. The wooded environment is peaceful and gorgeous, backed up to a green space with walking and running trails through the woods. There is a newly renovated club house with fitness room, as well as a basketball court and two playgrounds. I have a 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment and it's beautiful with granite countertops, a separate dining area, and an efficient floor plan. The management here is amazing, always responsive and helpful. If any maintenance is needed, they respond quickly. The grounds are immaculate and well-kept. There is plenty of parking, but it is open with no covered parking. Some units have in-unit washer and dryer, others don't, but there is a newly refurbished laundry facility in the club house and it's usually not super busy. Another cool feature is the garden area, where you can rent a plot (minimal fee) for the season to have your very own garden. Oak Vale is truly a place you can call home.

This is a beautiful neighborhood with a nice view and a clean environment. We have great community facilities: basketball court, children's playground, gym, video room, and more. The property office is attentive and efficient. The service staff is very enthusiastic and the maintenance is timely. In short, we are very happy to live here!

My husband and I lived at Oak Vale for three years. We loved our time at Oak Vale. Oak Vale is an unusual apartment because it does not have the feel of the typical apartment. It offers peace and tranquility tucked in against a beautiful old growth forest and backed up to a beautiful green space. I have now lived at several apartments and Oak Vale by far offered amenities that many apartments do not have. One of my favorite amenities that the apartment had was the community garden. For a small fee tenants can have their OWN garden plot! I loved being able to garden in the summer even though I lived in an apartment! It made it feel like home. Oak Vale is also close to several running trails and being an avid runner I loved waking up in the morning and being able to roll out of bed and hit the trails from my doorstep before rushing to classes. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there and miss the community that Oak Vale offered.

A couple in their twenties living in a second floor 2 bed 1 bath apartment in phase 1 for one year Pros: -The area is gorgeous -Far from any traffic noise -Friendly staff -Great maintenance -Beautiful apartments -Pets allowed with no pet rent Cons: -Old buildings with very little insulation* -Expensive rent -Expensive laundry facilities *We lived above a couple with two young kids and it was noisey constantly. Every afternoon we could hear the kids running around the apartment and various other banging noises. Sometimes it would even shake the apartment with all the stomping and banging. The first few months we were there, I'd be woken up to the sound of one of their children crying and screaming in the middle of the night.

I moved to oak vale a month ago with my brother and it is absolutely amazing. Its like going to camp again and spending the night in a cabin. Everything is quiet and peaceful we wake up and deer are 20 feet away from us with their babies. Neighbors are never a problem everyone is nice and very welcoming. When we were first looking at the area they had a waiting list about an inch and a half thick knowing how dispirit we were to find a place to live they made us a priority. We had a place in 3 months and at a great price. When touring our new home they were diligent and honest about how things were and fixed all the leaks and cracks in just two days. We are only a 2 miles from our university and we still get that campus feeling. To anybody looking for a quiet and beautiful home in Oregon choose Oak Vale Apartments.

This is the perfect complex tucked away from the busy college life down the road. It is very family and pet friendly. Oak Vale is family owned and very easy to work with. They have older and new apartments, both are nice. There is a playground, community garden, plus hiking trails near by. It may seem a little far from campus, but it is really only a short walk/ drive, and the bus system run in front of the complex every half hour. It is very safe and clean, and good for any college kid or family.
