r service is good at times, but unfortunately you do not have a full interest in resident complaints I filed a complaint against someone who always steals my shoes and steals any order I request, but unfortunately you did not pay attention to the complaint at all, although it is very important.

Overall a smooth and easy process moving in. Everyone in the office is super respectful and attentive to their work. The apartment it self it great small damages here and there but to be expected from something built in the 60-70’s. Had a small issue with water heater needing to be flushed but was taken care of almost instantly. Same day just a little bit later.

Ok upon moving in , presentation was very decent , but I can really say the bugs are bad , they’ll say they’ll send somebody to come do pest treatment but never see anyone , but the bugs , like every other day I’m killing a bug “literally” and I’m very clean , I can’t get comfortable as I want too because you never know when or where you’ll see one and some are small , some are decent but the units could be debugged or something .

The flooding by my building is terrible cannot get in and out of apartment area. Also bathroom repairs have been terrible and it is still not right

I have been living at oak park since for years! I moved here because it was close to my kids school and the amenities are great! I get to work out and not have to drive anywhere! The leasing agents are very friendly and helpful to your needs! The grounds are kept clean! The maintenance has always answered my calls if I need them no matter what time of night! I’m close to the airport, grocery stores and very close to hop onto the interstate! I’m happy here com on let’s be neighbors, basketball etc we have it here at oak park

So far my move in has been good and the front office has been very nice, only thing was i had a leak in my bathroom but made a ticket and maintenance came the next day and fixed it.

It is getting better now. Almost everything in my unit is broken from washer to AC they keep fixing it and it keeps on breaking. They fixed AC a week ago and it has stopped working again

The apartment is cozy and the facilities are okay. The gym needs some work, the grounds could be cleaner, and some community grills do not work. Maintenance is fast to respond.

Rough, the apartments were infested prior to our moving in. There is noticeable water damage that was never fixed prior to moving in, during the make-ready, they did not replace the counters that have burn holes all the way through the laminate and there is no caulking in the kitchen or bathrooms. The low income housing discount aspect is the main reason we are still here.

The process of moving was easy, but one day before I arrived four packages were delivered to the apartment and they were nowhere to be seems when I arrived.

Have been living at these apartments for 2 years and I have no complaints. I’ve been enjoying the upgrades to the amenities around the complex and the staff has always been super helpful and friendly.

I didn’t like the cleanliness of the apartment. The roads on the property are also pretty bad. They need to renovate the roads. Also the availability of internet connections leaves a lot to be desired.
I’ve lived at Oak Park Apartments for over three years, and it’s truly been a great experience! The community is wonderfully quiet, making it a peaceful place to come home to after a long day. One of the best aspects of living here is the convenient location—it’s close to work, entertainment options, and all the amenities I need, which has made life so much easier. I docked one star because of the new management team Tam Residential's lack of attention, evasiveness and unresponsive which has been very frustrating lately. Our maintenance requests are mishandled and delayed, focusing their attention only on getting new leases. Other than that Ive loved my time here at Oak Park.

From my first day moving in I had issues. First there were no numbers on my apt to tell which apt mine was. I asked for this to be fixed multiple times. I have mobility issues so I have most of my groceries and shopping delivered. Numbers on my apt are important. I explained this to the office after requesting this be resolved for the 5th time and I was told to stand outside and wait for my deliveries. It took 7 months for them to install the handicap parking I was promised a month before I moved in. They said I would have to pay extra for any accessibility items I would need (like a bar in the shower). The apt was infested with roaches. My best friend who also lives in the complex said the previous mgmt. had pest control come out once a week until the issue was under control. When I asked mgmt. about that option, because the roaches were so bad, I was told that they can do that because the roaches will become immune to the bug spray. Maintenance would routinely close tickets without even coming to the apt to address a svc ticket. I have an alarm and a camera in the apt so I can tell if someone comes in. Sometimes, they would open the door yell maintenance, then leave and close the ticket. They will also try to charge you for things they should not. When I moved in I sent a copy of my renters ins to the asst mgr and was told that was great and everything was set. 3 months later I notice I'm being charged $12/mo for renters ins. A girl in the office saw the emails between the asst mgr and myself. She sent an email to her mgr saying I wasn't told about the new policy where you have to upload your ins to a 3rd party co or you would be charged. She requested a refund. I was told no and that I should have read all my docs. When I explained I didn't get that document (I save everything) and that this new ins started with the complex right when I moved in and I wasn't notified I was ignored. They charged for a service called Fetch, which Fetch confirmed was cancelled and it took 2 months for me to get a refund. I was also told by the manager Michael they would not give refunds unless the resident called and asked for one. So if you didn't use Fetch so weren't aware they were cancelled you would not get a refund for the service you had paid for but they had cancelled. Additionally I tried to reach out to Tam Residential, the mgmt. company, on multiple occasions by phone and email and got no response.
Complex did not have my apartment ready for my move in date, therefore I had to switch all of my accounts another time for a new unit. Wasn’t told my unit would be ready at 5pm the day before move in. I have filed maintenance requests that were never taken care of however I received an email saying they were.
I really like my apartment and the area it’s in. It’s very quiet and management is does a great job. I love that the office gives us quotes and encouragement words.

The apartment price is great for its amenities. You get your own parking, washer, dryer, dishwasher, and microwave. The buildings are quiet and maintenance response quickly to any issue.

My apartment is nice but it took 2 months to get ac and bathroom fixed which is not good. Also have to watch statements like a hawk to be sure and to get refunds is very hard
So far everything since move in on September 25 has been pleasant peaceful and satisfying. Great staff, community and stay. Thankful for all.

Overall, during the three years I lived there, management changed several times, but everything was peaceful and it was in the perfect location in relation to my old job. The only reason I left was because I got an amazing job opportunity I couldn’t pass up. Otherwise, I’d probably still be there.
