When I first moved into Oak Alley I intended to stay for six months while my house sold. 2 1/2 years later and I'm still here. (My house sold) From Administrative Associates , Maintenance Techs, to the Groundskeepers all are extremely helpful and friendly. This is a very well maintained property, improving daily, great location and safe. I'd like to acknowledge the incredible crew that makes me not want to leave. Terrible place to live honestly, when we first moved it wasn't so bad because the rent was decent, since then the rent has went up $400-500. The hot water is constantly out. We went a week last month with NO HOT WATER, and the office knew about this but left over the weekend and would not respond to any calls / emails/ or urgent request. We were promised a rent reduction but of course it DID NOT HAPPEN. The paint chips in the bath tub, the closets flood, our carpet has never been replaced since they pulled it up after being soaked by outside water. Just over this whole place.

The on-site management is non existent. Pool is never open. Maintenance is impossible to get in touch with by any means except grabbing them as they walk by if you can find them. There is no washer or dryer hook-ups in apartments which is a lie on this site. The gate is almost always left open day and night. Had bees in my apartment for weeks before anyone would address issue. I had to fix plumbing myself because maintenance that was sent to fix it caulked around toilet instead of replacing the leaking hose on it. Which tool 2 seconds of investigation to find. There is no light switch for living room in my apartment. Biting flies come up the drains. I water in coming into my closet and have yet to even get a response days after putting in an emergency maintenance request. I lose food in fridge because of constant power lose
Magon and the receptionist keeps you inform on everything, and are alwayson top of things. The neighborhood is also peaceful, and the apartments are really nice.
