I can’t speak to living there as it turned out to be a little over my budget, but my tour with Maddy was excellent and it seems like it would be a great place to live.

The worsted DON'T RENT FROM THEM I rented for three years and they raised the rent everything you renew the lease 50 dollars or more then one day I had company over and we follow the parking rules and he parked along the tree line not in front of the building like we were told my friend arrived around 5pm and we he was leaving around 11pm we realized the his car was towed and because the office was closed we had no idea were his car so they can rob of all your money. Because over a 1000 dollars for a two bedroom apartment is not enough warning do not rent from these people if I can give them zero Stars I would and that's why I'm moving from this place in all my life I lived in New London and many so apartments and I can tell you they are the worst believe me when I tell you when I go to the office in the morning to talk about my friend's car they're going to tell me that I'm going to have to pay to get the car out even though I followed their rules because they want to drain every penny from you take my advice don't walk run so far away from nutmeg woods recommended you go to any other apartment complexes in New London if you're looking the amenities are not worth all the money the gym if that's what you want to call it the laundromat is filthy and machines are always broken and eat your money used once and never again the worst when I come back from the office in the morning and I have to end up paying for the towing of my frineds car I'm going to make it my mission to let people know about nutmeg woods BELIEVE THAT

Here at Nutmeg Woods, we work hard to ensure our residents feel safe and comfortable. We are concerned to hear you have not enjoyed your stay with us so far. This apartment complex is pretty decent, leasing agents seem friendly, and maintenance are on top of service request. To start with the issues, the closet doors come off the track frequently, paint chips easily on the trim, walls are thin on all sides you can hear neighbors above and below, and right outside your door. Stairway and apartment floors squeak. Water temp fluctuates from hot to cold and super hot during the shower. There is also not enough visitor parking since visitors have to park on the street and will be towed (at owners expense) if parked in a lot without a permit. My main issue though lies with the fact that there are mice! Each time I have made a complaint (3 times) they apply temporary fixes such as "pugging" holes in the walls, giving me traps to lay out, or placing poison bait packages in the kitchen, yet somehow I will still spot a mouse run along the heaters and then disappear. I wish this would be taken more seriously and taken care of since rodents carry diseases and i have children its simply disgusting.

We just recently moved here, and I can finally write a review after months of staying. A lot of neighbors smoke so it smells pot everywhere, most part of the floors squeak, if you req for the maintenance-it takes weeks before they fix it, and the parking is first come first serve-that I understand but a lot of cars don't have the parking sticker so it's hard to find a spot on the street side. But the location is perfect, near the shops and hi-way; and the staffs are friendly.

It’s alright for the price. Cheap. Trash everywhere. Maintenance workers are mildly incompetent. People honk their horns outside to tell people to come out frequently. Can’t go more than 2 weeks without stepping in dog poop. Leasing office is helpful.

I live in a studio with plenty of windows, yes plural,for natural lighting, private balcony, off street parking, and so much more for almost half of what i was paying in Hartford.

I have lived at the Nutmeg Woods apartment homes for a few months now and it’s great! My boyfriend and I moved here a few months ago and I don’t have a single complaint. First off our apartment is beautiful and the perfect size for the two of us,I am always able to find a parking spot in many of the areas surrounding my apartment, all of the facilities(gym, pool, laundry rooms)are clean and easy to use. I have only had completely pleasant experiences with the entire staff here as well as neighbors, I hope to call this place my home for years to come!
I have found the staff at Nutmeg Wods to be very friendly and professional. There is always a smiling person to answer questions. Also, I really enjoy all the family oriented activities like movie nights, holiday parties, and the community garden. Keep up the great job
Been here 10 years and we've always loved it here. Nice pool, exercise room, and great staff. Maintenance Edgar awesome dude, well really t all them are awesome. Close to everything and everyone, yet quite and unknown to most. Won a 49 inch 4K tv just for paying my rent. Where else you get that at!?!
For the two & a half years I've lived here at Nutmeg Wood Apts. I've grown to know the office staff and maintenance workers pretty well and I feel as though they all care about their residents equally and wholeheartedly.
Nutmeg woods is a nice community. Staff is very good and fix any issues you have promptly. The pool is nice and clean. However, these apts are quite old and the soundproofing is horrible. I would strongly suggesting getting a top floor unit otherwise you will hear every step, every bang, every sound from your neighbors above you. Especially if there are children above you. You will not be happy. Also the washers and dryers are maintained by an outside company and are always broken so you have to bring your laundry to the laundry mat if you have alot. Hopes this helps.

the comp[lex is nice and kept well. the staff is courteous. Since it is near a navy base it does have a turn around as personnel are transferred. nice pool, gym, and pet friendly. rent is reasonable too.
This apartment is close to shopping center malls and very quiet and peacefull
I've lived here since early November. Upon moving to the area, I decided to check out the apartments due to being close to my job, shopping areas, reasonable price, and listed amenities. I ended up choosing to lease an apartment though due to the friendly staff. When I moved in, the original staff had offered me move in specials that I couldn't turn down and were by far the friendliest staff I had stumbled upon. Sometime at the beginning of the year, the management staff was adjusted presumably due to the a complex owned by the same company being short staffed. The employees that now work at the office are as kind as can be. Anytime we have gone to the office, the staff always greets us and always seem cheery. The manager even took the time to get to know us by name. Both of the young ladies who work at the front desks are always helpful too. Recently we have had packages delivered, and they have made sure our packages weren't left outside to be stolen or exposed to the outdoors. The office they work in is furnished like a lounge and appealing to visit or wait in while the staff assists other residents. I even went in one time and there were two adorable Pomeranian puppies that greeted me, always a fun surprise. The pool is clean, and the property is well kept. The management staff goes out of their way to offer resident appreciation events as well; I believe there are family movie nights, raffles, get togethers, car washes, bingo, and cook outs during these times though I do admit I haven't gone to these enough. While I do not have a pet or a child, the playground and dog area both look like places I would not mind taking them to. The laundry area is reasonable and clean. When I first moved in, I was in a 1 Bed 1 Bath and about 6 months into my lease I had an old friend move to the area with me. The staff made it incredibly easy during my transfer and gave me plenty of time to move. As an added bonus, the new 2 Bed 1 Bath we transferred into is completely renovated with upgraded appliances and amenities. Overall we are very happy with this area, if we had any complaints it would only be the residents in our current unit. The first building I had lived in had very quiet and respectable couples, whom I never had any problem with. Props to the staff for maintaining the nicest complex in New London, and props to Amanda, Savanna, and Debbie for the fantastic resident service.
