Property Ratings at Nova Pointe Apartments
My recent encounter at Novapoint Apartments left much to be desired, starting from the moment I stepped into their office. Despite being accompanied by my sister, we were blatantly ignored by the office staff, who seemed preoccupied with other clients. A simple acknowledgment or a brief "we'll be with you shortly" would have sufficed, but unfortunately, even that basic courtesy was absent. Upon finally being attended to, I was passed off to another staff member without any indication from the initial representative. This lack of communication was frustrating and made me feel undervalued as a potential tenant. The subsequent interaction with the second staff member only exacerbated my disappointment. Not only did she seem disinterested in assisting us, but her demeanor also exuded a sense of condescension. The repetition of information already provided by her colleague, coupled with a remark questioning my financial eligibility based on appearance, was unprofessional and off-putting. Her comment about income requirements being "2.5 times the rent" was delivered in a manner that implied skepticism about my ability to meet such criteria, solely based on outward appearance. Furthermore, the attire of the staff member in question, notably a crop top sweater that exposed her midriff, was highly inappropriate for a professional setting. It further detracted from the overall credibility and professionalism of the establishment. In conclusion, my experience at Nova Point Apartments was marred by poor customer service, lack of communication among staff members, and an unwelcoming atmosphere. As someone in search of a suitable living space, I expected better treatment and professionalism from the representatives of the complex. Regrettably, my encounter fell far short of these expectations.
This has to be one of the worst places I have ever lived. I don't know if the staff receives bonuses, however, they should be more concerned with the residents. This place is absolutely horrible and I would not recommend anyone living here.
Ms Stacey is the best manager for nova pointe. I have been here 9 years and she has made great changes she's kind and hears the needs of the tenants. She always make time for the tenants unlike last manager. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
Been living here for 8 months and I have no complains whenever I need anything fixed maintenance comes next day , Anais is super friendly and helpful whenever I need anything I also like that it’s a calm place to live no crazy neighbors everybody stays in their apartment

Management is rude. Nothing works inside apartment, when u complain nothing gets done when u finally move out u get charge for it. Broke my lease early, best decision ever!!!

NOPE! Pool condemned for algae growth and gate safety issues, by the city. During a heat wave next to the laundry room, essentially creating a swamp and West Nile breeding ground. (Of course pool in front is well maintained for show) Unaccommodating and rude staff, that is, if you can get a hold of anyone. Additionally, a lack of communication with residents, other than to threaten the community, tell them about a water shut off(happens at least 1 time a week in one phase or another) or to deny responsibility for anything. Things do not get fixed, just pastes and glued The lack of care and critical thinking, is apparent and not a good look for the company! Pass!.

I was told it would be one price for the apartment based on my income. Had my appointment for application on Jan 30th 2021. They called me a few days later saying it would be well over the price I was originally given so I asked them to pull my application. I understood not getting the application fee of $40 back. I was told the $100 holding deposit would be mailed to me by check within a few weeks. It is now almost June and I still have not received my $100. I have emailed multiple times and called and left messages. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. They only want your money. They don't care about who you are.

very bad, I went to ask for information about an apartment and he behaved as if he did not care about anything, it is assumed that if he is in that job it is to serve people who want to rent something, if he does not like his job he should find another
The worst place to live the worst new management they don’t care to help anyone their just there for a paycheck
The administration has a terrible service, they are never available to assist you. there are cockroaches in the apartments
I went to apply and first of all I had to go in person due to online it wasn’t working. We were there on time and the leasing agent Olivia made us wait to help us kept getting interrupted by other people. I also asked her while filling out the application and if I would get my $100 deposit back for holding the apartment she told me yes. Took her a week to get back to me meanwhile o had to keep calling her to see what was taking so long. At the end she wanted me to pay two months rent. I told Ana another leasing agent if she can work with me because I really did want to move but I didn’t have that amount she told me the manager said that’s they way the application is can’t change anything. Poor management if they really wanted to rent they would of found away and they didn’t give me $100 dollars back. They are just taking advantage of people because they need a place to live.
Staff is rude and does not help with ANYTHING. I had gang writing on my car and they said the cameras arent for tenant pleasure. Then I come home from having a newborn & window is busted out and all of a sudden I have to call the police department? I dont understand why they are there? Leticia would not give me a temporary parking sticker as well after I had explained I turned my car in for a different one & they said I would have to pay 25$ for a new one. Overall my first renting experience and I am not satisfied at ALL

I suppose it is unfair for all the harsh and negative comments I see online. I have lived in Nova Pointe for a year. I can affirm confidently that this is a good place to live. The new management is superb. I once had a leaking ceiling during the heavy downpours late last year. I sent the management a text during the weekend. They didn't reply to my text. Well, they responded with the workmen around my door on the following Monday. The maintenance staff are very courteous, and would do everything possible to satisfy residents. It is an apartment home, but the lawns and trees with segregated buildings and landscapes make the experience like that of a condo. Besides, all my friends and associates that visit my unit testify to the state-of-the-art features available in the spacious one-bedroom apartment at an affordable price. I give my strong recommendation.
These apartments do not look like this do not be fooled. The new team they have in the office are so disrespectful. They do not repair anything. Our hot water would go out for days and they would take their time to repair it. THESE ARE NOT WORTH WHAT THEYRE CHARGING. DONT MOVE HERE EVEN IF ITS YOUR LAST RESORT.
So they had 3 weeks to inform me that my employer left one answer blank on the reference check and one form that needed to be faxed and not walked in. Two things that could have been instantly fixed. Apparently they have more of a problem with communication than taking money from people. This is after I paid to $140 to turn the utilities on and a $100 holding fee. My move in date was on the 11th of July and when I went to give them my cashier's check to get the keys come to find out that they hadn't even touched the appartment after the last tennantst moved out. Every day that went by was a different story so here I am a week later and their ignoring my calls. I'm pretty sure they gave my appartment away now but wont return my money

Whether you're a resident or not dont bother calling they'll never answer. Even if management treats you well i think its way too much to pay to hear shootings so often. Been here only a year( having never heard gunshots before) and im already getting used to it. Just dont

These apartments have black mold growing. I had two problems with mold in my apartment. I move out. They told me I’m not doctor but I don’t think 6 months being exposed to mold can’t get you sick. And have multiple health thank god I’m out of this place.

Updating the inside of the apartments does not make up for everything else that’s horrible in this place. Maintenance is definitely lazy. If you want anything done, you have to do it yourself! There’s always “emergency maintenance” that needs to be done with the plumbing so the water is constantly shut off. There are always neighbors fighting at all hours of the night. Broken washing machines. Trash everywhere. Such a joke thinking this place is worth raising the rent by hundreds of $$$.

I’ve been here since 2011 and I only came, because it was the only thing I could afford at the time. The managers suck, because they don’t acknowledge your complaints. The maintenance men are lazy and only halfway do their job. They have the absolute worst plumbing I’ve ever had. I’ve asked for either my carpet cleaned or replaced, since I’ve been here going on 7 years. Their response was, I had to do it myself, even though normal wear and tear should be sufficient enough for it to be taken care of. They do “inspections” on your apartment, so they can enter. I’m finally moving out. Oh, and let’s not forget about 2-3 weeks ago there was a shooting and it was outside my kids window!! I’m MOVING!

We were supposed to move in by the 10th it's now the 8th and they keep coming up with excuses as to why we came move in yet! Every time we call to see what's going on they give us some excuse!! Also there gates are never working always open for anyone to just drive in! And there not half as nice on the inside as the front in the front it looks like there nice and clean but once you drive threw the gates it's a different story!

The place is not a great place to live. If you have a dispute your not allowed to even talk to the manager. If you leave voice mails they never return your call. And when you put in a maintenance work order it took a whole 2 months for them to fix something for me in my aprt. Can't wait to move. These aprts would be good if they had better management and people working in the office that are nicer.
