Maintenance is the worse ever. Took them 2 months to repair my kitchen sink had to go 2 months without using my kitchen. Building is old you can literally hear and feel whatever your neighbors are doing. Management is ridiculous and don’t honor their lease agreements with tenant. They will still charge you a full month rent even when you give you 30 day months. Stating they don’t prorate rent but didn’t put that in the lease agreement. Please safe yourself the trouble and move elsewhere..

Do Not Move Here Management & Maintenance Men Is Terrible, Buildings Are Non Livable, Rats, No Heat In The Buildings In The Winter Just Dirty Everything. Would Not Recommend AT ALL

I really wanted to like this place because of the decent updates and how friendly the staff is. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst place I have ever lived and I moved out. There are several issues that I could no longer deal with: Noise: These buildings look nice, but once I moved in I could immediately tell it was just an old building with a face lift. The walls are horrendously thin, so much that even when someone was having a normal conversation, I could hear them speaking from within my apartment. This also meant that every time someone watched TV, played music, etc., I could hear it all. I don't know if it was just my building, or if the other buildings are similar, but the people who live here are LOUD. Because of where my apartment was situated on the back side of the building, I shared walls with two other apartments and there was one apartment above me. I have lost count of how many times I had to knock on doors and remind people to be respectful and keep their music down. The people in my building played their music so loud that it actually sent vibrations through my walls that were so extreme I could hear the glasses in my kitchen shaking. I had to start sleeping with noise-canceling headphones just to be able to sleep. Obviously, filing noise complaints with the office is an option and something I did more than once. However, the tenants who live here seem to not care and continue being disruptive despite formal letters of complaint. I found it very disrespectful and obnoxious. Safety: This is not an apartment community I would recommend living in, especially for families or women. There is a significant domestic violence problem in this area, which has been so extreme that at one point the office had to post letters on peoples' doors alerting tenants that they had received an escalating number of violence reports. Even in my building, some tenants have gotten in arguments that were so heated that doors are slammed, objects are thrown in the stairway, and people scream at the top of their lungs. Every day, I felt anxious when I got home and I often ended up spending the night with friends. Pests: My cat killed several mice and every week I found mouse droppings around my apartment. The office routinely had pest control companies come to the apartments, but whatever treatments they did weren't that effective.

I wish there was a full time job that’s based strictly on complaining about NORTHSIDE FLATS and how TERRIBLE they are ALONG WITH THE UNCONTROLLABLE GERMAN ROACH INFESTATION!! I have a whole gallery of 30+ roaches taken over a 4 day period which we didn’t even move any piece of furniture into! ITS SICKENING!

Since Katie took over, Northside Flats has turned around 200%. I have one of the fully remodeled units and for the price, you won't beat it. Granite countertops, new cabinets....you can't go wrong. I saw some of the other reviews that mentioned mice infestation, this is crazy. I've never seen anything and my neighbor who did see one....they came out SAME day and treated the unit. Also, this place is in the woods and off the beaten path, to not expect an ant or some other critter is just crazy. I've had a few work orders to put in and they fix them some time same day but at the latest, next day. That's pretty awesome. Anyway, great staff and great property. You won't be disappointed.

I have mice and they have not been able to help me. The first time I seen it they gave me some boxed traps and some repellents to plug into my wall that did not help. I saw a mouse again and so did my dog and they came in again to set more traps I saw the mouse again tonight and it ran across my foot and didn’t go near the traps at all. They won’t help me they won’t let me out of my lease and they won’t move me into another apartment I absolutely hate it here do not move here. The apartments have crime all the time and there’s always trash laying around. One good thing I can say is that they allow you to have pitbulls

Moved in a little over two months ago it was a good decision. Quiet, Mgmt is very nice and helpful. Maintenance is very nice. No complaints on this end.

I lived there for 1 yr on the bottom floor and at first it was fine. Though they had a small roach problem, they claimed to have ppl come out every week to spray but I barely saw any in my apartment anyway. Maybe a total of 5. But they have a SERIOUS mice infestation!!! They did absolutely nothing about it. I had dealt w it for 9 months !! I wrote letters, called, spoke to property management, etc but they never took care of the issue. A bunch of ppl told me they had the same issue. There was a total of about 15 mice in my apartment and nothing was done. I had to buy traps, Bc they kept saying they’d get someone to see where they come from but ig they were just too “busy”. I paid my rent early ALWAYS sometimes even by 2 weeks, I just simply couldn’t believe it. I have videos and pictures and it makes my skin crawl just thinking about it. I was paranoid to walk about when it was dark ! They really just need to tear those down and start over. But on the bright side... If you have a cat, it’ll always be fed !!

I live close to the Northside Flats Apartments and last night there was another shooting there. There is an apparent flow of drug traffic in and out of the complex which makes the lure to seclusion so nice for people who think they live in the woods. . The place is a noise nuisance as well with the constant Thunder from subwoofers. The residents fill our subdivision full of garbage as I have watched them pull to the intersection and drop their McDonald's bags on the ground. Just like anything else with a pretty facade there's generally something ugly lurking from within

Rats and more rats and must I add rats.. also had some weird looking bags (similar to roaches) that I didn’t even know what they was. So happy I don’t live there anymore. In the winter you can’t even go up the hill because they don’t clean or put salt down.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! MY APARTMENT HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO TWICE IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS! EACH TIME THERE IS NO FORCED ENTRY AND IT IS ALWAYS RIGHT AFTER “MAINTENANCE” IS IN MY APARTMENT! THEY TAKE ALL DAY ABOUT REPAIRS! I HAVENT HAD HEAT SINCE SNOW FELL OUTSIDE THEY HAVE SUPPOSED TO BEEN HERE TO BLEED THE LINEs ON COUNTLESS OCCASIONS STILL NO HEAT. THEY GAVE US SPCE HEATERS THAT I CANNOT USE BC IT TRIPS THE FUSE EVERY 5 MINUTES! MY WATER TO SHOwer IS ALWAYS LUKEWARM NO MATTER WAT TIME OF DAY IT IS! APARTMENTS ARE NICELY RENOVATED BUT FOR THE SPACE YOUR ALLOWED THE PRICE YOU PAY IS NOT WORTH IT WHEN YOUR PRIVACY IS CONSTANTLY INVADED!

i've been here for only a month and there's RATS!!! they say they have exterminators come every month but i've never once seen an enterminator. the people in the office are never there!!! the kitchen is small, the walls are VERY THIN. you can hear everything that goes on in other apts, and the neighbors are NEVER quiet. i constantly hear neglected barking dogs, and loud music, DAILY, from other apartments. there are a ton of cats that just roam around in the parking lot. there's always kids shouting and running around. DONT LIVE HERE

There is a big mice and roach problem!!! Somehow had a raccoon in my ceiling and they never did anything about it. Mentioned it a few times and they told me for them to do anything about it I had to confirm myself that it was a raccoon. But I could hear the claws! And when I found out I had mice in my building they didn't patch the hole I had in my dinning room immidetly, they put sticky straps down and when I caught one of them I had to dispose of it myself! On top of that the laundry room had roaches inside the washer. So yeah the property is nice and looks new but the building is still very very old and mice and roach infested! You can here the rats in the walls. I'm so Disgusted and I was so excited to move in when I did cause everything looked great! Jokes on me!

Well, where to even start. Empty promises from the apartment manager. Repairs were supposed to be made to the apartment before we moved in (we naively signed a lease trusting they would hold up their end of the deal) repairs were never made, the apt manager (calaya) kept telling us it would be today, that the apt was next on the list but it never was. Office is supposed to have someone in it from 9 or 10 until 6, but it seems they're always gone for one reason or another. Music blaring at all hours of the night, ambulances and firetrucks frequent the parking lot because of all the overdoses. If youre a junkie, or you like being lied to and manipulated then these apartments are just for you.
