The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Northridge
Pest issues inside and outside the units, low quality buildings - the walls are thin, need a gate around the property for better security. Not luxury at all, these are regular apartments with nice amenities

Any, we’re discouraged by this characterization of our community and regret that your experience here has been anything less than exceptional. We’re very sorry to hear that issues with household pests have been negatively affecting your stay with us. We would be more than happy to speak directly and work with you to find a lasting solution to the problem. Our team also appreciates your feedback about our grounds and homes. We’re always looking for ways to improve and hope you’ll stop by to let us know if you have any suggestions about how we can do better in the future.
I very much enjoyed living in this property. The apartments are some of the nicest in the area and the amenities are very good. That said, I would encourage anyone who lives here to record phone calls they have with the office and take everything in the lease literally, regardless of what you are told. About two months before my lease was scheduled to end, I received a phone call from the office asking if I intended to renew. I explained that I was moving to a different state and would not be renewing. I was told that they were sorry to see me go, and that they would handle the rest of the process. I asked if I needed to do anything and was told no. Then, about a month later, I received another call asking if I was going to renew. I explained that I had already given notice and was told to send over a written notice. Shortly after sending that email, I received another call from the office saying that they had made a mistake, and that I was all set to move out. I again asked them to let me know if any further steps were necessary. Then, days before I move out, I learn that they intend to charge me rent for more than 5 weeks after I will have vacated the apartment. I attempted to dispute this and cite the lease's early move out fee, which I would have preferred to pay if I had to pay something. Multiple emails went unanswered, and the specific question about the early move out fee remains largely unanswered. I was merely told they could not honor that request. For the first time since I have been here I felt like the staff were extremely rude and uncompromising. My impression was they believed I was lying. There has been so much turnover with the staff in recent months that I do not think the people I originally spoke with even work here anymore. I do not know whether someone made a mistake, or whether I was intentionally misled on those phone calls into believing that they had filed my notice, presumably in order to squeeze money out of me. The result is the same, I am now paying somewhere around $2,000 more than I anticipated just to leave. Read the lease very carefully and do everything it says to the letter of the lease, even if you are told by the staff on multiple occasions that you do not have to.

We are grateful to hear you enjoyed your apartment and the amenities, so we are deeply saddened to hear this move-out situation has colored your experience in this way. We sincerely hope to speak with you soon to address this situation. Thank you.
My family moved back to Jackson over the summer so I did extensive research on every apartment in the Jackson area. I was mainly looking for extra space (downsizing from a house), relaxation, pet friendly, quite and free parking. Tapestry checked off all of my boxes and even has a 24 hour accessible gym. I did wait a couple of months to make sure I was out of the honeymoon phase and proud of my first decision as I absolutely love my welcome staff (Renee, Lavinzia, Justin, Simon & Conner) who knew us by name, always consistent, transparent and helpful. There were only two incidents that I encountered and both were handled in a timely manner and didn't affect my day. I love the running track in the middle and the tv area where I can watch tv at anytime outside. I use the indoor kitchen area to study alot and host my meetings (but also use my balcony if I just want 100% privacy). The unlimited cookies from this local bakery are amazing but when they run out, there's always free chocolate :) in the living room area. The pool is nice and warm even at night. The designers were very thoughtful on how they used the space (comparing moving from a house back to an apartment) of the apartments especially in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry rooms. I love the amount of space divided between the kitchen and living room area plus the island size is perfect. The washer and dryer in unit are a plus. We can fit everything from our house into a one bedroom apartment so hands down we hit the jackpot for spacious, luxurious and modern apartments. I can go on and on about what I love here because Tapestry is definitely worth bragging about. The only thing I am not a fan of is paying for the door to door trash pick up. We are used to throwing away our own trash so that feature is not really an interest to us. Overall, I lived out of state and never visited this place prior to living here and selected it based off of my encounters with the welcome staff and happy I went with my first option.
Since living at Tapestry Northridge apartments there have been many positive aspects to the apartments. The unit that I am in is much more spacious than one would imagine. The space has been very efficiently utilized and the layout it very aesthetically pleasing. All of the appliances are top of the line, and I really appreciate the deep farmhouse style sink. The apartments are extremely new, and considering the numerous amenities offered at the apartment, the apartment is well priced compared to other apartments in the Jackson-metro area. I also really appreciate the Jackson Precinct across the road for peace of mind. To my knowledge, there has not been any burglaries or crime since I have been living here (8 months). As with every experience there are cons. The only con I have experienced is a noisy downstairs neighbor. They play their music loudly with a lot of bass, which is easily felt and heard from my unit. This is a possible issue no matter where you live, depending on your neighbors. I only mention this fact to say that the apartment staff has been extremely tentative to the situation. They have worked tediously to alleviate the issue and although it is a non-ideal situation, every property staff member has been helpful and comforting and our issues are being resolved. Much of the residential population consists of either families, college or professional students, or elderly individuals. The atmosphere of the property is very quiet and relaxed. Lastly, there are nice options offered by Tapestry Northridge which can’t be found at some other apartments, such as: a car wash station, the option to purchase a garage, and a nice dog park.
