Mountlake Terrace is a fairly small city of around 20,000 residents near the northern shore of Lake Washington. I-5 runs right through the middle of town, putting downtown Seattle less than thirty minutes away. Living in Mountlake Terrace puts you in a great position to explore the natural wonders of Washington State, particularly the sprawling Cascade Mountain nature preserves to the east. Ferry service across Puget Sound makes it easy to reach to Olympic Peninsula as well, allowing for weekend trips to Olympic National Park and the ocean.
There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation closer to home, whether that means spending an afternoon at Lake Ballinger or bringing your dog to the parkland around Lyon Creek. I lived there for about 7ish years and never had any issues. The staff and managment were always respectful. I would definitely move back 100% It's also a perfect spot for freeway access and shopping.
I have never lived in a apartment were they don't fix things right keys don't work for anything and much more

We try to fulfill all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, regardless of high volume, and we’re sorry this was not your experience. Please bring these concerns to us in person at the leasing office to reach a resolution.
Adequate is a good word to describe these apartments. Parking at night is a challenge, different things were routinely breaking and needed replacing. Staff is very nice though.
Nice location, great management team and maintenance team. The units are well kept. Laundry facilities available 24/7. Grounds are well maintained. There are a lot of long-term renters here. We also have the benefit of police drive-thru and local fire and hospital within minutes.
