Fifteen miles east of Portland, Fairview is a small city on the bank of the Columbia River. The community is almost entirely residential, with a few small coffee shops and restaurants scattered among the suburban neighborhoods and larger shopping centers on the east side of town. Most residents live within walking distance of a park, pond, or lake, with ample opportunities to get outdoors and enjoy the region’s lush natural surroundings.
Within just minutes of both Downtown Portland and the Cascade Mountains, you can easily hop into the city for work or a night out, or go off the grid for a weekend in the forests surrounding Mount Hood.

Thank you so much for your positive comments about Northbrook Village Apartments!
I love this place so much I have moved here twice. This community is a hidden gem. The property staff Mckenna & Krystle and maintenance team are absolutely awesome, super friendly people and understanding as well. I also like my home so much (both times) that I had family members move into the complex and also my best friends live here as well.If you are looking for affordable, quiet apartment home I would pick here.

Thank you so much for your positive comments about Northbrook Village Apartments!
I’ve been living here for around a year, property looks great and amenities are nice, during the whole time living here management have been great especially Krystale. I really enjoy the location!
Apartments are quiet and landscaping is kept clean. Friendly management and maintenance team. Krystle and her staff are always available to help when something comes up!
This place has gone downhill. I’m seeing people break the rules; like having trash outside and parking a storage container long term (see photos) OR U-haul truck parked overnight, blocking entrances and staff being okay with it. BUT if people park in guest parking or on fire lanes for 15 minutes, they get towed. Parking is limited to one car per apartment. People park across the street and get towed by the owner. Some people park across the Fairview library, 1/2 mile away. Although, I’ve been told by staff that up to 8 adults can live in one unit.. The units range from 1-3 bedroom. That’s 8 adults in a 3 bedroom. There is dog poop everywhere. There’s lots of loud music and it’s “lively” on the weekends. If you like peace and quiet, this isn’t the place. The lease is typically 12 months and available units are reasonable priced. However, they will increase to your base rent, even if you renew. Similar available units for new residents are cheaper. The water and trash is divided by all units. Every month since we have moved in, the water and sewer has increased. We are 2 adults and 1 child. We started at $70 month and now $139 for water and sewer. It must be all the sketchy residents that live here unannounced. Bottom line, I’m not renewing. I’d rather go to another apartment that gives one free month of rent and take my chances.

Staff was working diligently on resolving the storage unit being stored on the property. The occupancy limits are set by the U.S Fire Code. The City of Fairview recently increased the water utility rates which was not something that management had any influence over. Regarding the noise, renewal rates and property cleanliness please reach out to us so we can improve our services. Thank you for sharing your experience we always strive to exceed expectations & we regret that it was not your experience thus far.

Hi Tyler, Thank you for the 5-star review! Your feedback is highly appreciated.
Moved in two years ago, place was pretty much brand new. It's quiet, never had any issues really. management was great during the bad weather. Shout out Danny in the office for helping me figure out some banking issues I had recently with a check bouncing.

I got one month free when I moved in & it was super helpful with moving costs. Danny showed me 4 different apartments since I wasn't sure what I really wanted. I like this place parking is the one thing I dont like i wish they had more guest space

Thank you for taking the time to rate us! I am glad we were able to find a place that suited you perfectly!
If you and or your family have more than 1 car don't even bother moving here. There's zero extra parking. Management literally suggested I park at Target. Corners cut literally everywhere, can't open bathroom door if drawers are even slightly open.. and management is extremely rude. Bring an issue to their attention and you are gaslighted and yelled at. No customer service skills. Hated every minute here.
You will be charged an exorbitant amount for outdated appliances, no parking, & poor management.
I’ve been living here for about 5 months & we’re really happy. The apartments are done really nicely & very spacious. What really impressed was how quite it is inside blocking all of the noise outside. Even when we have the windows open it’s peaceful. Mangement has been pretty good to us as well. I was reading the comments on parking - yes you only have one parking spot but this is made aware to you upon signing your lease. If you have two cars that does make things a little more difficult but if you have one car, parking is totally fine & easy. Not to mention, the price for the unit is totally reasonable as well. Definitely recommend these apartments.
I love my new apartment. It is so difficult to find new apartments in this wonderful area right next to the Columbia River Gorge. The buildings are very attractive and I have a nice two bedroom with two full baths. The other tenants who live here seem to be responsible young couples, either with a dog or with a small child. All the cars in the lots are nice, so I know everybody is working hard at some job or other. Mainly, Thomas, McKenna, and Tiana who make up the administrative staff are so over-the-top helpful and nice! These apartments are just 20 minutes from the gorge and yet close enough to shopping like Fred Meyers that I can have my groceries delivered. I feel lucky to have found this gem.
When I say this is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in im not exaggerating. The lack of parking has been one of the most stressful situations. They allow you one car per apartment and preassign spots. They gave us A COMPACT SPOT AND I DONT HAVE A COMPACT CAR. They refuse to switch the spot to a different spot. When asked where we’re supposed to park our other cars they said “figure it out”. They tow you car so quickly if you not in your spot (visitor parking) - which for less than 12 hours cost over $400. All of the visitor parking is also “retail” spots, so people shopping across the street can park. They made us resign the lease at least three times, causing a fee to be charged to our account because we were “late” in signing??? The apartment is nice but they won’t let you drill anything into the wall without losing a huge chunk in your deposit. If I could back out of this lease early I would. The apartment is not worth the stress of having to walk half a mile - a mile to get home. Terrible management and a complete lack of understanding or sympathy.
Moving here I was very excited. The units are very new and spacious, they allow pets and the washer/dryer are in unit. However, they only allow one parking space per unit and seeing as how we have 3 cars this has become a nightmare. You aren’t allowed to even park in the visitor/guest parking spaces. As if being towed wasn’t bad enough, it costs $400 after one night in the tow yard they work with. If you have more than one car it’s not worth the stress.
