North Water Apartments

Poorly managed building. Not luxury. Elevators out for 6 weeks - disgusting lack of action and poor communication.

i love my building, the area, the neighborhood, the pool and the gym, even coffee machine on the 15th floor, concierges, leasing office crew and maintenance team, everything is perfect.

A lovely place to call home! The staff is supportive and kind. The amenities are cozy and spacious for fun gatherings. And the pool i area is nice and relaxing.

The apartment is beautiful, including the lobby, clubhouse area, pool, and rooftop deck. Also, the units themselves are so nice! They are very spacious and have beautiful finishings.

Recommend this building to anyone that is looking. I've had an incredible time living here. It has everything you could possibly need from an apartment building. The unparalleled views and great staff are the icing on the cake.

I love living in North Water. It’s the perfect distance from my work (about 20 minute walk) not to mention it has everything you need in a 2 block radius. Sushi restaurant or Robert’s pizza, liquor store, Target, Walgreens and everything you need within walking distance. Front desk provides extra security. Upscale apartment complex. 10/10

Northwater is a great place to live. I have lived here for over 6 years and the staff are wonderful. The views are amazing and for the most part, it is quiet.

We love living at North Water Apartments! The staff is always so friendly and helpful, the building is very clean, and the amenities are fantastic. The views are stunning and the building is in a great location!

Repairs handled quickly (within a day) and the apartment views are awesome regardless of where the unit faces. Gym is a bit small, but the view from there is really good

Great management. Clean and on time service. Fairly new to the building so I don’t know much still. But good experience so far. Dishwasher wasn’t working and got fixed asap.

There are many nice apartment buildings in Chicago but you will not find a better building than North Water. Besides the location and incredible views, the entire staff, from the front desk, to the maintenance and cleaning crew, to the office staff and the package room, are the best you will encounter anywhere. We have lived here over 3 years and we cannot complain about any of the service we have received. North Water is the best building to live in downtown Chicago!

I have bee in the Streeterville neighborhood for over 20 years! North Water just gets it right the first time! We always feel welcomed and at home.

If you want a peaceful home with an amazing community, NW is your place. From breathtaking views, spacious and well thought out floor plans, to a great fitness center and outdoor/communal areas, you have everything you need in a perfect neighbor hood. AND the staff is amazing & attentive everyday. Home away from home!

North Water is a quiet, well-maintained building in an excellent location. The access to the Lake and River is unparalleled and the surrounding area is wonderful. Staff is responsive and caring.

The views are amazing and youre in walking distance to everything you think you may need!

Easy to reside here with excellent staff and nice neighbors.

This property has been slowly going downhill for the last few years. The management is erratic and more concerned with their business then being laser focused on showing courtesy and respect to residents 24/7. The frequent noise from their renovations -- hard to understand since the building is not that old -- really taxes patience. And the maintenance is now hit and miss.

We have been residents of Northwater since day one. We have visited all the competitive properties in the area but when you compare the quality of the team here along with our unique location and building quality there is no better place in Chicago to call home

I have been living at 340 E North Water since it was built. I wouldn't live anywhere else!

North Water is a community that exemplifies the word home. The employees are caring and wonderful. The amenities are plentiful and well maintained. Everything here is quality, from the employees to the apartment finishes.

Wonderful location and management. I am extremely happy after living at North Water for 1 month. They managed a lot of packages during move in. Very helpful with furniture deliveries. Great elevators. Apartments are free from noises from neighbors. Sense of community is great. I cannot say enough about the view. Amenities are very nice. Exceptional!

I have had more maintenance issues in the first few months living here than my entire 11 years renting apartments and condominiums. I was locked out of my apartment twice, which was only the tip of the iceberg. Everything about the building and location is great, except the staff who run the place. The only competent people are the concierge team and drycleaners.

This is the best apartment I have lived in ever.

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience throughout my application process with North Water Apartments. During this process I was assured with no questions asked the Application Fee would be refunded, this was not the case. The unit was not available for viewing I was told I had to apply to reserve the unit. After finally viewing the unit I decided I was no longer interested, nor were the floors updated. As I waited for the application fee to be refunded I was told no refund would be issued. Extremely disappointing when someone lies directly to your face.

The building seems to be on constant maintenance and redoing mode -- even though only about 5 years old. A building that young should not need so many repairs. And that leads to too much noise. It seems you hear constant pounding day in and day out. Also, the elevators are too frequently malfunctioning. Again this is not an old building. They apparently did not construct things right the first time.

My puppy and I love living at North Water! We love everything about this buildingthe management, staff, neighbors, amenities.

We have lived in two other high rises in the Loop and North Water is our third. North Water has a terrific location and great amenities. We also appreciate the "dog friendly" environment. The staff is extremely courteous and very attentive to resident needs. We will hopefully be at North Water for a long time.
