This is a prime downtown Chicago location. The staff are friendly. I felt welcomed from the moment I viewed the unit to the moment I signed the lease. Michael helped me throughout the entire process. He even stayed on the phone with me when my family and I were lost trying to find the loading dock for our Uhaul. The unit was clean, spacious, and it looks like the property manager cares about the upkeep of the building. I'm looking forwarding to living here for a while.

I've stayed at 5-6 different buildings over the last 10 years, and North Harbor Tower has easily been the best experience I've had. Every single staff member I've interacted with — from the leasing office to the front desk staff to the maintenance crew — has been friendly, helpful, accommodating, and a genuine pleasure to work. I've constantly been blown away by the speed at which things are fixed & improved, and how accommodating the team has been any time an issue has popped up. The views are great, the amenities well-maintained, fast elevators, easy parking, and much more. But really, it's the amazing staff make this building exceptional.

Residential complex in an excellent location with walking distance to all attractions in the center. Convenient location to transport. The complex itself is not new, but in good condition. Despite the large number of apartments, there are not many people. The complex's special pride is its responsive staff.

I’ve been here for 32 years and have always treated my unit as my own—replacing and updating way before Waterton became management. They don’t seem to honor the tenants who treat their apartments as their forever home, and I think that they should—we have made the building what it is today

I have lived in my unit--3 bdr. corner for 32 years, was the first in the apartment and have always treated it as my HOME. I, for the past 20 years only use the place for less than 6 months. The building looks great and I love the staff (the ones who have been here for over 10-15 years. My only negative comment would be that I think Waterton does not value its longtime residents--they should! We're great!

THINK AGAIN AND GO ELSEWHERE. I AM LEAVING. 1. Construction from 8 - 5 every day. I work from home and I cannot take any calls. It is ridiculous. 2. They started charging for water usage. Used to be flat rate. 3. Old building. Endless renovation. Been going on for more than 2 years. 4. Unprofessional and uneducated management staffs (door and maintenance staffs are amazing) 5. Don't get fooled by the pictures on the website. 6. Unacceptable rent increase year to year 7. Heat not included. Extremely cold during winter because the building is by the lake. 8. Elevators need constant repair. 9. Dog potty areas is gross and very very small. North Harbor used to be a one of the best in the neighborhood. Good price and well maintained. But with the new management, things have changed so dramatically. They should have informed the residents of the construction month before so people would not sign or renew the contract. Or at least not raise the rent when the residents have to suffer everyday from the noise, dust and not being able to use the amenities. I am leaving and I don't recommend this building to anyone.
The construction make huge noise on the wall of the build and the electric drill noise wakes me up every morning at 8AM! I asked the building staff that I signed the contract and contract mentions "it is quiet hours before 8:30am", why there are huge electric drill noise which starts at 8am and this lasts for more than one months. The staff said the contract is only for inside of the build and you should be glad that the noise only happen from Monday to Friday!
I have been living at North Harbor Tower since October 2016. I can say that it without question the best living situation that I have been in. Though I don't have a roommate, I have a bunnie named Carl (fortunately they allow most kinds of pets). I do live alone, but it really doesn't feel that way. Everyday upon entering I am almost always greeted by some of the cool doormen, who I have got to know quite well. The building staff like maintenance are also quite friendly usually giving me a welcoming hello when we pass. But in terms of people that work at the Tower, the leasing/management team definitely stand out. They are all so kind and do want you have this place feel like a home. I have been working with Brian, one of the leasing agents since I first arrived. When it came down to making a choice between a couple of other nearby buildings, I was certain I was going to live here the minute I arrived. I wouldn't say that I'm psychic or anything ;) but I knew that the tower was going to be home for a solid time to come. Concerning the buildings views, I really can't complain. In general, their is a choice between the Lake Michigan or the Lake Shore East Park sides of the tower. Currently, I'm living in an apartment facing the lake and am for sure blessed to be able to wake up and experience the sunrise in the mornings. The rent is particularly reasonable because of the excellent location. There is a beautiful park nearby and a pretty short walk to the Chicago Lakefront Trail as well as the a couple of major el stations. Not to mention a grocery store in the building! In terms of the amenities, I use the pool, library, and lounge. All are up to my standards so far. With regards to the other residents in the building, everyone is pretty friendly, going about their day just like the rest of us; people are people wherever you go :) Overall, I plan on living here for years to come. I am beyond grateful to have found North Harbor Tower and would recommend it to most. P.S. And remember, "All I really know about life is the Living of it". -Mark Fiorentino
Just moved into North Harbor Tower three weeks ago and my family and I are very happy! The doormen are extremely friendly and helpful as well as the maintenance staff! The management office has been more than gracious and helpful with all our move-in needs! Even the package pickup is friendly and easy with Susie! We worked with Rayana on everything and she was prompt and helpful all along the way. Sherry the property manager is also a complete delight! Very happy to call this home!
This is one of the best rentals I've had in my entire life..I'm happy with location Amenities which include so many things included with rent..water fitness, pilates,yoga, zuumba, fitness center , sauna, Olympic size indoor heated pool..outdoor area with firepits, fireplace, flats screen TV's,lovely party room , business center Parties are given celebrating holidays for tenants. different restaurants with food for purchase at dinnertime one day per week....The doormen are the best and the maintenance staff always on task.. All request are honored almost always on the sameday.. The ambiance here is so appealing.I know so many of my neighbors by name.. I am so happy that I found this building in this neighbor in downtown Chicago, East Lakeshore. Thank You North Harbor Towers!!!! A ????? building!!!! .
