Property Ratings at NeuRock of Destino
I spoke with office staff about my issues with relocating last month and they told me that they could help me. I provided all required information. They told me that I had 2 electric bills on my credit that I needed to pay being that I was preapproved. I paid that $606 and sent the receipt. I paid the application fee, admin fee and deposit. I drove an hour back to the office to see the unit. I got my paperwork with apartment number and information to turn on my utilities. After driving an hour back home, I get a call from the staff that the manager denies my application because my rent was late at my last apartment 5 times. I'm like because my rent was late. I have never in my life heard of such foolishness. The manager was there when I went in the office, never acknowledge me nor talked to me. This lady immediately denied me for late rent after I did everything that I was instructed to do. Then I get a call 2 weeks later saying that if I bring in a money order for $225 they will give me back my original money order for $425. If not, they will process it and I have to wait 30 days to receive my money back. I was beyond frustrated because she didn't care to speak to me or anything. I ask has she paid every bill on time? They give you false information to receive money from you and can care less about trying to help anyone. I had no fess owed to anyone. Its crazy that people are conducting business in this manner and yet they forget they are human sitting behind their desks. I just pray that God bless them and continue to have mercy on them. Be mindful of how you treat people because you will reap the harvest of every seed you sew.
2 years ago I resided in Destino apt. and I did like them that I upgraded to a 3 bedroom after upgrading I got a bill, I was told by Management not to worry about it because I didn't owe it and they would take care of it. Headquarters sent it to ProCollect so, I ended up paying for it. Because of the crappy management, it is still n on my credit report and I can't get it off no matter who I speak to. Don't trust Destino Apt.!!!!!
The name has changed three times for which it is now called The Destino Apts. I have also witness FIVE management changes. Within the changes were some good and bad managers. Anybody was able to move in which made the apartments a bit unsafe. But now as of July 2021 the current management are on their toes, dotting I's and crossing T's about who moves in. Maintenance work efficiently on getting orders completed and overall the change of management has been great. I now feel safer to come in late at night and not have to watch my surroundings plus the new neighbors don't hang out all times of the night. Overall a great place to live.
The apartments looks nice inside and outside, the property always looking sharp. when my friends come I feel proud to show them around my new place, is quiet and I feel safe. Super excited to leave here for a long time
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Do not pay money to live in this dump! It looks nice on the outside, but once you move in they don’t care about you at all. My AC has been broken for 5 days now and the maintenance guys looked at it for 5 minutes and never came back. You call the emergency maintenance number and no one ever shows up. You go to office over and over and you just get dismissed. I still have maintenance requests from 2 months ago still not done. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in! Go somewhere else, anywhere else! Do not sign a lease here!
Moved here in 2016. Everything was great. Issues were addressed quickly, property was clean, having the cops called was a serious issue to management. Two years later, property has been bought out multiple times. The property is trashed. The garbage over flows constantly, trash lines the parking places and street. The remodeling of the units is not beneficial to anyone. Crushed bricks are literally everywhere along with rusty nails and wood peices. Construction crews are rude and will have your property on your balcony destroyed. Roaches are awful and always get worse after spraying. I am convinced they use sugar water. Management doesn't care. Kids run around here with no discipline. They throw rocks and broken bricks at cars and will then come and cuss you out. The kids are constantly destroying property. Your car will get broken into. Management is aware of this but nothing seems to be happening. I've talked to multiple police officers and they hate coming here. They said it's getting as bad as the apartments across the street which have shootings/murders/assaults nightly. Packages get stolen if left at the door. Literally within minutes of it getting placed there. Mailboxes also get broken into. Parking is ridiculous. Cars without stickers do not get towed even though it's supposedly enforced. If you are disabled and need handicap parking, forget it. People park in handicap places with no decals and stay there. Towing company won't come for that because management told them not to. It took over a year for our water bill to be corrected. (Its still wrong, but at least it's closer to our actual usage than the $1000 bills we have been getting.) I could literally go on for days, but I won't.
I pay rent on time EVERY MONTH and they aren't addressing the issues I bring to them about my unit. They smile in your face like they are concerned about your issues with your unit, but don't address the problems. Furthermore management doesn't know how to talk to tenants which ARE the customer. The place was great place to live before Paramount, then westmount took over. DONT MOVE HERE!!!
We've lived here a year and a half and when the property was sold to Parawest Management, that's when everything went wrong... The property manager is a witch! VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!
