The Tates Creek neighborhood sits five miles southeast of Lexington's city center and 12 miles northeast of Nicholasville. Property Ratings at Mt. Tabor Apartments
They let the maintenance men open your door or walk in regardless of if you’re there or not. I’ve had them follow me around the complex before in their work vehicle. They also let maintenance request sit there until they can do an inspection to charge you for the fix. It’s not insulated well so your power bill and noise level will be higher than what they tell you. The woman at the front office does not care, she will tell you anything to get more occupancy and money.

I’ve lived here for one year and I love it. The property manager is very responsive to messages and easy to work with. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The apartment is spacious and great value for the price. I would absolutely recommend this complex to a friend.

Mount Tabor Apartments are run by very nice, helpful people in our experience at a good price. The location is within 10-15 minutes of most places one would need to go, including UK. We very much enjoyed our time here and would recommend this location.

I was a long-time resident of Mt. Tabor Apts. (until a few years ago), and I enjoyed living in this complex. The grounds were always well-maintained, and the community was pretty quiet and calm for the most part. It has a 'good' feel. Whenever I had a problem with the apartment, it was addressed promptly. The manager was wonderful, one of the best I've ever dealt with. She was always professional, courteous, and took pride in her job and the apartment complex. The location was ideal too, close to New Circle, UK, Hamburg, Fayette Mall, and not too far from downtown. I enjoyed my place at Mt. Tabor. It was a great choice for me.

I'm a three year resident. In the last six month's there has been one LOUD party after amother, fights outside weekly. The management will do NOTHING. it's a residential apt turned ANIMAL HOUSE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Each and every complaint we have received, whether by phone or email, has been addressed; we have copies of this correspondence. As for parties and fights, we have no knowledge. The only complaints we had received were for noise and parking issues, which again, we addressed. All potential residents are screened thoroughly. Of course, we don't want this kind of activity in the neighborhood and would not tolerate it. What is stated above, has never been communicated by other residents or to our office or maintenance crew. We moved to lexington almost two years ago. Mt Tabor Apartments was reasonably priced for what it offers; property is always clean; very convenient to shopping, Man'O War and New Circle. We are very happy here. The office manager is very nice and always professional.

I lived here for 2 years, I am 25 with a cat and boy friend who lived there with me. Over all, these apartments are okay. Nothing special but has a good price range. I am giving them a bad review because of management. I was charged 80% of the new carpet installation. When I already paid a total of $500, 300 for a deposit and 200 for a cat deposit, (they were a cat friendly community at the time). When I tried to talk to the manager about the cat fee being included in the price that I "OWE" them she said "It was non refundable and it not part of my deposit." So since they are not a cat friendly community it would seem they would replace that carpet no matter what but instead I was told they do not usually replace carpet when someone has only lived on property 2 years. THE POINT IS, I had a cat now they are not cat friendly so regardless of what it looked like it would probably need replaced. I will never return and would not recommend it to any of my friends. In the end I HAVE TO PAY THIS ASSOCIATION OVER $1000 in total deposit and charges when the only thing wrong was the carpet and a cat.
I love it here!! Office staff and maintenance guys are super friendly. It's pretty quiet. I feel safe. I hope I can stay here a long time.
Don't bother to rent here its a very noisy community rules are not enforced and the office is a poor example of management
The maintenance guys are rude and disrespectful, they will just barge in unannounced. You are suppose to have 2 parking spots per apartment which is a lie so many residents end up parking on the street. The appliances are old and so is the plumbing which causes a huge headache. The bathroom vent doesn't work, the windows are drafty, the walls are paper thin, the floors creak, there is no dryer vent (some apartments have vents but unfortunately ours did not and they acted like it was too big of a job to install one), the ac never works, and the decks are so old they are falling apart. Candy is a sweet person but a horrible landlord and can't remember anything you tell her and is very confusing about policies. The only good thing about this place is its location and the neighbors are nice. Other than that this place is horrible!!!

Our company has since hired a new maintenance crew with whom we are very pleased. Our residents frequently complement our office for their kindness and professionalism. We urge all our residents to report maintenance work orders as soon as they occur in order to act on those in a timely manner. The staff is very friendly. I was looking for 1 bedroom. There was only one available and it was going to be remodel. I have ample of time to hold the apartment and then move in. Close to New circle which means some noise but when you close the door you just enjoy.
