It's a terrible complex, the janitor was the person who did all are paper work because office ladies were no where to be found. Constantly slapping fees and unexpected costs

A quiet and lovely apartment complex that can absolutely be called home.
Such a clean and well managed property! Shopping elsewhere brought me right back to Mountain View! And thats the TRUTH!
Clean comfortable living at a reasonable price. Great location easy access to main roads and the airport.
I've only been here a month, but the staff is super friendly, the apartments are sized really well, the price is awesome. Only downside is small toilets and small kitchen area. Upsides: giant living room, plenty of storage space, hot water heater works like a champ and technician on site is great.
In general its a good place to live. Make sure you are clear with management about prices and deposits and getting the correct address. Management will be rude to you if they make a mistake. The maintenance man is nosy. Oh and Pest control has a key to everyones home and will walk in unannounced. Good price though.
The space is clean and well cared for. Everything is in good working order. And, its very affordable. If this were not a temporary stop for me, I would consider this a great long term housing option.
Located on the west side of Gillette, Mountain View Apartments is in a quiet neighborhood and the complex itself is very quiet, almost seems like there's no one else in the building. The apartment is old, outdated, and the grounds lack amenities (pool, tennis court, etc.), but it is a great value for Gillette and includes most utilities. Maintenance is great, they take care of all requests very quickly and professionally. The staff here is very friendly, helpful and someone is always in the office to assist during weekdays.
When I was living in Michigan I began my search for an apartment in Gillette, WY. I found a listing and photo's on line and felt the prices were the best in town apartment looked great. So when I was in Gillette in December I went and looked at the apartment and found out it was perfect. I filled out the paper work and I was notified on the same day that I was approved. I then paid my deposit of $99.00 to hold the apartment until I was able to move in on Feb. Now how many people can say there deposit is only $99.00. I was quitting my job and moving to be with my husband and money was tight and we made too much for a low income so Mountain View was very affordable. I also had a dog and cat and smoke so to find a affordable place with animals and smoking I felt I hit the Jackpot. My animal deposit was the lowest in town and no pentaly for being a smoker. The animal deposit was 1/2 the price of most places in Gillette. Since I have moved here I have used the maintance service. Each time they came the same day or the next day and always fixed everything plus anything I added. Just a couple of months ago they came in and remodled my kitchen and bathroom. I now have a dishwasher and built in dishwasher. If you are looking for a place to rent in Gillette I truly recommend Mountain View Apartments where the staff is very very friendly.
