If you're looking for that cozy, small-town feel interspersed with the excitement of a big city, then Wilmington is the place for you. Located in the northern-most portion of Delaware near the Pennsylvania border and close to the city of Philadelphia, PA, Wilmington has plenty to offer no matter what your age or interests. The specific neighborhood of the city that's best for you can vary based on your budget, but some of the more popular neighborhoods include Trolley Square (which is known for its beautiful architecture) and Bradywine Park (which is dotted with lovely parks and nature trails).
If you're the artsy type, you'll love visiting the Delaware Art Museum, located on Kentemere Parkway. Here, you can enjoy viewing work from local and globally known artists ranging anywhere from the mid 1800s to present day. Be sure to visit plenty throughout the year, though, as they're always featuring new exhibits and galleries.

Property Ratings at Montrose Terrace Apartments
Horrible. Dealt with mold issues and AC unit that never worked. Management would just show up without any notice and never fix any issues. When people moved out, the owner would simply just paint over the mold. Not to mention, one day I came downstairs to see a painter in the garage (trying to cover mold) painting overtop of the tenants parked cars. WITH THEIR PAINT BUCKET SITTING ON ONE OF THE TENANTS CARS! We should have been notified that they were painting in the garage in the first place so we could respectfully move our cars. But this place does not know how to notify. And there are bugs everywhere! Even with monthly sprays there are still hundreds of little beetles in the summer months. Horrible management and the once the new owner took over, everything went downhill. Stay away.
I lived at this complex for about 3 years. We were one of the first tenants when they were built new in ~2015 and managed by the builder. Since then, the complex was sold and a new property manager took over. After about a year, the issues started. After 2, all the major issues started. We went without AC all summer and apliances started to fail. The property manager wouldn't give notice before entering units time and time again. There was a leaky roof and mold in the hvac vents of all top floor units. There is heavy turn over at this complex due to poor management and a slumlord owner. Problems are covered up and units flipped to new unsuspecting tenants. The county department is aware of known mold issues and has fined the owner. Stay away!
