Located roughly eight miles southwest of Downtown Mobile, Spring Valley is framed by Government Boulevard to the north, I-65 to the west, and I-70 to the south. The Dog River bisects the neighborhood, which is home to the Heron Lakes Country Club. Hank Aaron Stadium, which hosts minor-league baseball games and features a museum dedicated to hometown hero Hank Aaron, is on the west side of the neighborhood, across I-65.
Government Boulevard contains a variety of shops, restaurants, and businesses, including the popular Rice Asian Grill & Sushi Bar, located in the Skyland Shopping Center. Stores along the boulevard include Open Doors Thrift Store and Old Time Pottery. Take the boulevard east across the Dog River to shop at Dick's Sporting Goods, Costco, Hobby Lobby, Best Buy, and Regal Cinemas. Take I-65 north about three miles to shop at Springdale Mall or Bel Air Mall.

Property Ratings at Montlimar
This is the worse apartment complex ever!!!! The management is poor the walls are extremely Thin you can literally hear everything I have the loudest neighbors above me and to the side of me with me working 5 days a week I just couldn’t handle that and calling the courtesy officer or the rent manager they don’t do anything to handle it and could care less I’ve only been here a year and had to experience worms all through out the apartment which was not even my fault it’s because the apartments are just old as hell but they don’t try to fix that either I was told I needed to buy bug spray to fix it…. Please reconsider when living here the price is cheap but because you will be living in bad conditions
