Monticello Apartments

When after a month of paying the security deposit, the apartment was not ready to move in. I signed the lease which stated that there would be a dishwasher, there was none. The new carpet that was put down had buckling in several areas. The cabinets did not close properly. A closet door was missing. So needless to say they kept my security deposit. What a rip off.

My family and I have lived in Monticello for almost 8 months now. The ladies in the office are always professional and kind to every aspect. Their maintmance staff is attentive to any kind of trouble you may have in your home while living there. My family and myself live in a spacious 3 bedroom townhome with a nice patio and yard in the back. Great for my kids and their friends. Also at the end of last summer they had a event for all the children in their community to eat pizza, snacks, jump in a bouncy house & get thier face painted. The liberty fire department and PD also made an appearance to teach our kids about safety and hand out prizes! I absolutely LOVE being a part of the Monticello community. I have never lived somewhere where the people on staff truly went out of their way to make sure the people living there feels at home. I plan on making this my home for many many more years to come! Thanks to the staff at Monticello for all the hard work they put into making our community a great place!

If I could give 0 stars I would, this complex is horrible and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, we had a mice infested building and they never told us and failed to fix, them we began having trouble with flooding and we couldn’t use the restrooms in our home until they fixed the issue. Then to top it off we had complained about our AC and they wouldn’t do anything to fix the issue and the maintence people are jokes. I hope the health department gives them violations because they are horrible and the property manger should be fired because she obviously had an issue with our complaints, I HATE THIS PLACE!!!! Especially the policies and contracts

I am so happy I choose to live here at Monticello the staff members are some of the best staff I have ever delt with they have always been up to part on any of my request that i have made in a timely matter, they keep the place clean and are always updating the property. And that is one of the things I look for when I was searching for my new place to live I will tell you this was the best move I made.

I have lived here for a 1 1/2 years now and I absolutely love it!! The office staff is amazing. They are very friendly, helpful and willing to help out their residents. The maintenance staff works really hard to fix anything that is wrong. There have been a lot of construction going on since I have been here. They put new roves on, put up new balconies, they have storage units for residents to rent, they opened a dog park and next year they have even more things planned for the property. I would highly recommend my friends and family to live here!!!!

We love it here at Monticello! Everyone here is great....from our neighbors to the office and maintenance staff. Anytime there is an issue, the girls in the office always take care of things right away and maintenance is very pleasant every time I see them. Two of my friends and my aunt have moved here since I came about 2 years ago and they are just as happy. What a super place to call home!

If I could rate this apartment under 1 star, I would. We lived in the apartments from the summer of 2014 until our lease expired the summer of 2015. When we moved in, we had the absolute sweetest landlords in the world. They worked with us, they helped us, they communicated with us, and we helped and communicated to them. They left because of a buyout and I don't blame them. It's the same reason I left. When an owner feels so tiny that they have to threaten you over the phone then it's really not worth living there. The owner's on-site managers also took the wrong approach at "introducing themselves" to their new tenants -- and by introducing themselves, I mean banging on everyone's doors and demanding rent money that was late by 1 day. We paid that month (April '15) off as soon as we could, and we paid May as soon as we could also and the actual owner still had the nerve to come by and ask how soon we would be leaving. So we gladly packed our bags and left before our lease officially ended. To top it off, the genius that they have running the office decided to check my room before I left and had the gaul to say that the stove burner plates, which were in half-decent condition when I moved in, were "not clean enough" and we got charged to replace them out of our deposit. The policy changes were absurd and the management was more unreliable and unbelievably rude. Their goal is to basically evict all that they can so they can get rid of those of us that can't afford a nice place and relied on these apartments, and to move a "better class of people" into the apartments. DO NOT move to this place. Pick down the road at the Woods of Liberty. They are amazing people and will not treat you wrong.

I live in a 2bd 1 1/2 bath nd den.Very spacious. Wish there was a playgound for the kids

Great owners, neighbors,and apartment. Would recommended every body looking for an apartment.
