Property Ratings at Montgomery Trace Apartment Homes
Heat and a/c work well, and there's plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, my washer's spin cycle doesn't work very well and requires a separate spin cycle for every load of laundry, my front door doesn't stay latched unless I dead bolt it (I've filed multiple maintenance requests about it, but it hasn't improved), and the roaches are ridiculous. Even when the community is doing weekly treatments, it hasn't helped much.

The community is friendly, and quiet and close to shopping center is really nice for the family too. The community bus are close by too so is really a great place to be.

I don’t have a resident experience, as such. I just move in and my experience so far is unpacking a gazillion boxes. The few people I have seen have smiles and hello’s. I love the trees but would love more parking. I’m an artist and can’t wait to find my paints and canvases! It’s nice to be in Maryland.

Overall it's been positive. I detest the roaches that can't seem to be completely eliminated. Maintenance is prompt, though frequently the job is only partially completed or completed as a "patch job" instead of a permanent solution.

The whole place is very clean. Everything looks nice and tidy with no messes anywhere. The landscaping outside looks great too. The people who work here are really friendly. I have experienced wonderful communication from the rental office as well as the maintenance staff wonderful wonderful people however because these buildings are very Old there continues to be mice and roaches. The pest control people come out to my apartment every week and I’ve only lived here Since December 2023. The pest issue continues to be a problem and really needs to be worked on. There is several holes and gaps in my apartment and the mice continue to come in. My children and I do not feel safe or comfortable

The office staff is very professional, and kind that is one thing that I do like maintenance is respectful as well however, the upkeep of the Of the apartment amenities and just the overall conditions of the apartment is not great. I mean there is a pest problem here, mice, roaches, and even though they do have regular pest control is still is not helpful and that’s the unfortunate part. I’ve had the pest control coming into my apartment almost every two weeks since I moved in which was in December and it’s only April.

My experience since I have moved in Montgomery trace Apartments has not been a great one. Prior to moving in the work was not completed in my apartment and it is now December 20 and they are just now completing the work after I reached out to the property manager the professionalism and customer service is great. However, the timeliness needs to be worked.

Pest have been an issue since day one. Tried going through management and they are no help. Wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. Definitely will not!

I’ve been living here for about 3 years, the neighborhood sometimes make noise with loudly music, i also dislike the smell of marijuana on the hallway of the building. The maintenance staff is good and fast to fix any issues.

Friendly, serene and safe. The kids love the environment, especially the kids park, and we get to play basket ball as well. The commute to work is also great and helps connect tenants to food courts and grocery shops.

I’ve enjoyed the few years I have lived here. The staff are helpful and efficient. The apartment is nice, except the bathroom is small, but there’s a walk in closet and another closet in the bedroom. The kitchen has nice counters and a great breakfast nook! Our dogs love the cats on the property, the doggy pop bags and trash cans, the dog park, going to the walking path across the street, and doggy swim! Us hoomans love the swimming pool too! Neighbors are mostly friendly or keep to themselves, so be it.

The apartment it's self is very large. Wish there was more storage space. I am giving a 1 star review because we are suffering with mice infestation. Its my very FIRST time living with mice running around my apartment and the whole building! Wish they can do better to help the community that is living here! But it seems it's too much to ask for!!

We have an Amazon Hub next to the Leasing Office & we don't have to pay extra for this amenity! - We have a mouse issue & it has not been resolved by Leasing Team. There's no consistency in treatment. Very disappointed. - Dog Park needs more mulch for pups & bench for parents. It would be helpful if poop bags were stocked in dispenser otherwise why have dispensers. Overall, we have friendly & nice neighbors in our building & within community.

Well been here for a long time and maintenance gets worse and worse want to more but it's a good location for things I do , it's bad enough the the apartment is old and routine maintenance should be done in a professional manner but most jobs done are shabby bootleg work. Rent paid one time every month never late since I been here so with that being said they don't have to wait for rent so why should I have to wait for my maintenance request for over 3 weeks when it just something very simple

Very nice. Staff is always friendly, especially Neta. I would enforce people to pick up after their pets, since it’s extremely disgusting how much poop is there.

Just moved in over the holidays. My daughter & I have enjoyed our experience. The community is lovely, with friendly neighbors & staff is always ready to help. I'm grateful for the opportunity to become part of the community and meet more neighbors.

For the price it does not get much better then this. The surrounding apartment complexes are much worse. I look at all the surrounding ones before choosing this one. The parking at the complex and the dog cleanup stations could use work.

A serene neighborhood that is friendly to children. It is convenient to commute to work, medicine, banks, food and grocery stores. There is an efficient garbage disposal in the Montgomery apartments, and the park adjacent to the apartments is a great place for playing basket ball and for spending time with the family.
The community is very calm and friendly, it’s so welcoming. My partner and I really like it here. The staff is so comprehensive and have great communication.

I generally feel safe here and the neighbors are generally very nice and usually willing to say hello. Maintenance is responsive and the cleaning crew cleans everyday. There is enough space for my dog and I to live comfortably. I've seen no bugs or critters but I also keep my apartment pretty clean and organized. There is a Fitness center, but it's really small. There are plenty of gyms in the area, so it might be worth investing in a gym membership if you're an avid gym goer. There are various bus routes, metro stations, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and shopping centers nearby. My favorite part about living here? Ms. Neta! She is the leasing agent who works in the leasing center and she has made my entire life so much easier. She is very helpful and provides dog treats and water for my dog every time we visit! Ms. Neta is very caring and invested in ensuring that every single resident feels comfortable, safe and has a positive experience at Montgomery Trace.
the neighborhood is usually quiet and was so beautiful earlier with the fall colors on the big trees. there's pretty good pho nearby and it's a great meal during soup season :D

Ever wonder what it's like living 2 minutes away from a shopping center? 8 minutes away from the metro station? Well Montgomery Trace is the place to be if you're a wandering gypsy, looking for a place to relocate next to a shopping center this place is for you. Not only Montgomery Trace located near the shopping center, the Post Office is literally a 2 minutes away! Kmart is right next door! Unlike any other apartments in this area, this place is quiet, has a beautiful yard with a pool, a dog park, and a little fitness center. It's like living your dream, except make this a reality.
