Excellent community environment, Quit , comfortable and safe

I so appreciate all those that make living at Montessa a community that cares about their tenants.

Montessa has been a great home for the last few years, the complex is well maintained with daily cleaning of the pool and other communal areas. Maintenance are always quick to help out and overall we have had a great experience at Montessa Apartments.

Fantastic location, nice grounds, great neighbors in my building. Not sure how any tenant could have a problem with management unless the tenant is the problem! We've had no issues. I do wish more people would use their garages for their cars though.

Office staff, Lindsay in particular is rude and condescending towards tenants needs or issues. Maintenance as well. Freddie and James were very good but are now gone. Couldn’t understand why?Then Johann was made the manager of maintenance. Wow! What is wrong here.

I am very disappointed with the management's handling of our deposit. After living in the apartment for only one year and leaving it in perfect condition, we were charged additional $550 for their decision to repaint the walls to a different color (gray). Before moving out, we asked if there was anything else we needed to do to ensure we’d receive our deposit, and they assured us everything was fine. Be aware—this management seems unlikely to return your deposit fairly.

We chose Montessa at Whitney Ranch for the location, and have been very pleased with our choice. The apartment is spacious, with a lovely view and we have a garage, there is plenty of parking as well. The grounds are well kept, with a beautiful walkway around the property, perfect for walking our dog. Applying was simple, and Tawni was beyond helpful and easy to communicate with. We are so happy to call Montessa home.

Montessa at Whitney Ranch has been a pleasant experience, staff and neighbors are friendly, I enjoy walking my dogs around the community, I feel very safe and comfortable.

Lindsey made all the difference in our experience with Montessa. I am so grateful for a knowledgeable, caring attentive manager. I’m grateful for a community that cares about those of us that live here because it really is our home and I have such a sense of community here. I’m so thankful for a property like Montessa that cares about all of us living here, we really are a community. The GREATEST thing I can say about living here now, that it’s moved to a NON SMOKING FACILITY. I was about to move because we’ve had smokers all around us, and my asthma was getting so bad I couldn’t even stand to be outside of my own place, Which was really sad because I love gardening and taking care of my many plants on the back patio. I had to get on a different inhaler and extra asthma medicine just to tolerate being outside in my own place because of all the smoking around me. No smoking on the property IS THAT IMPORTANT TO ME!! So having the support of Montessa enforcing this is a game changer for me. Thank you Montessa! Lindsey is doing an amazing job!!

The only thing luxury is the pillar we have in our apartment. The blinds, lighting and much more is what you find in regular apartments

We moved in 3 weeks ago, and every day here has been nothing short of amazing.

The Montessa community is great. They have made some great changes… SMOKE FREE environment, which I believe is huge! It was hard to enjoy your outside patio with people constantly smoking around you. This will be one of the reasons I stay here. Plus they have made a BIG effort in making people be accountable for NOT picking up after their pets “do their business”. They’ve also put up signs in all the dumpster areas which most importantly says it’s illegal and prohibited to dumpster dive. This was a HUGE problem when we moved in. Now getting the outside dome lights fixed on the outside of all the buildings will make a HUGE difference because right now it feels unsafe being so dark around the buildings. Other than that I’m very satisfied with the way Montessa is working hard to provide a great living space.

I’ve lived here twice—that’s how much I like it here. :) The building is sound, you never hear your neighbors, the staff is super helpful and friendly, and maintenance is on top of things!

Montessa at Whitney Ranch has been a great place to live. Maintenance is efficient and the office workers are very helpful and respectful. It’s nice to have a beautiful walkway that wraps around the development, with an additional walking path at the nearby park! Best park around for kids too.

Montessa at Whitney is an excellent community to live in. It has plenty of trash bins, great amenities, and a comfortable living area.

Clean, professional, and management is prompt with work orders and kind. A really great place to rent.

I have lived here for over a year and have been very pleased. The grounds and amenities are well maintained. The staff is professional, friendly and very helpful. My apartment was clean and ready when I moved in. The overall experience of living here has been a pleasure.

We love living here! It’s very quiet and people are friendly. It’s close to shopping, restaurants and freeways. We have an excellent view of the wetlands.

The entire staff has been very friendly and responsive. The community is quiet and sociable. Overall, I am very pleased with my first experience in apartment living in may years.

A well-built unit that has aged well but could use a paint touch-up in some areas. Carpet remains in places a hazzard where wrinkled--could be a tripping concern and carpet should, ideally, be replaced throughout the unit.

The resident managers at Montessa are incompetent. I have and will continue to communicate that message as often as I can.

The people that manage and work in the rental office are very helpful and kind. I found certain areas werent cleaned well in our rental, so they sent someone in within the week to go over the areas that were not cleaned well. The apartments are older but spacious and have a nice layout. The master bedroom is an average size and has a nice walk-in closet. The kitchen has a lot of cabinet space so you can make due without a pantry. Overall it is a nice place to rent.

In looking for a safe and clean community to live in that has floor plans which feel more like a house, I knew Montessa was special. Crystal and Alyssa have been wonderful to work with which makes living here even better. I highly recommend if you are looking for your next home, Montessa is waiting to welcome you!

This is a very nice community with friendly neighbors and great leasing staff. The grounds are very well maintained and beautifully landscaped.

All the staff Ive met (which hasnt been that many due to COVID) have been incredibly kind and friendly. We rented this apartment based on reviews and they were absolutely correct.

This place is an great apartment to live in. The maintenance team has been doing a great job at resolving our concerns.

Stay away from this complex, the management is very bad and confrontational and the maintenance is beyond horrible!

My husband and I lived at Montessa for one year. We had loud barking dogs next door, our AC broke and we had the worst experience with our final walk through. Our deposit was held and they compiled a bill for items such as moving the washer, dryer, and refrigerator, expected to touch up paint throughout the apartment and clean inside lining of washing machine. The staff are rude and argumentative. We had a terrible experience and glad and to be leaving!

I have been living here for about 8 months now and like it here. Pretty quiet and feels save and away from most of the hustle and bustle of closer to town yet close to everything. They fixed a couple things that needed it quickly.

Hello, I have lived here for the over six years, Why? Location, Location, Location. This complex have it all and it starts with the first people you come in contact with, the office staff. They treat you like you are someone and not a commodity, just to fill a vacant Apartment. The maintenance staff are on the job, keeping the areas clean and very easy to deal with, if needed. The area is surrounded by some beautiful homes, Wetlands, close to shopping and freeways. (But not too close). Did I mention close to one of California Distinguished High School, with an Awesome Academics and Athletics program. Wait!! there's more. The most amazing City run Sports field and a playground anyone would love for all ages. Well, back to Montessa. My apartment have direct access from the garage to my apartment on the second floor. It truly has everything I want. SAFE; QUIET; PLEASANT. PS: Don't take my word (but do, kidding ) check it out for yourself and see what the complex have to offer, and you'll see why I love living here. See you soon.
