If I could give a ZERO STAR I would. Do not live here!!! This place is roach infested and termite infested. Management does bare minimum and when asked for action they tell you one thing to your face, but it never gets done. Gates are never fixed, junkies and homeless hangout in the area, and it is definitely not safe. Multiple shootings on 48th st side. Besides the outrageous price I was willing to let it all slide and be happy and done with the worst place I have ever lived after move-out, BUT NO, Greystar is the horrible gift that you never wanted. After we properly fulfilled our move out procedure and paid all current move out costs, Greystar screwed up and sent our supposed “final utilities bill” to the apartment we just moved out of, and they never forwarded our mail or called us to let us know there was another “bill”. After 5 MONTHS of blissfully happy to be out of this place, I get a call saying Greystar sent ME TO COLLECTIONS FOR THERE OWN SCREW UP. Do your self a favor, DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!

I have lived here for 8 years and the office staff as well as the maintenance are the best crew this property has ever had. This is not a new property and their are always issues to address. Both the office staff and maintenance crew keep the train on the tracks no matter what. These people are superb !!!

Had roaches the entire time I lived here even with regular requests for pest control. Found hundreds and I’m sick to know of how many more there were unseen. Brought it to managements attention multiple times and still no help. Stay away from this trash complex

This will be my third year living at Monterey Village, the new company and its staff a vast improvement from the old management company. Kayla, Jennifer and Crystal are by far the best team to work the office and the main reason I decided to remain a part of the community.

It’s been about three years since I did a review and found that my feelings about this property have only gotten better and stronger. Let me explain. 6 years ago this July I moved into my apartment. I told the office staff that after being a renter for so long I felt like I found my forever home and that they would have to get me out on a stretcher. You laugh, but I’m pushing 80. This is home to me in the deepest sense and the office staff and maintenance crew just make life easier. I feel blessed to be able to live here.

Hand down the worst team I’ve ever had to deal with. If my experience is a reflection of how they manage their current tenants then Lord have mercy. Would not recommend. My move in date was supposed to be in February. At least that’s what I was told over the phone by someone who works at Monterey. I packed my whole life, ready to move, and a few days before my move in date I was told that due to unforeseen circumstances my move in date was moved to March 15th. But the team at Monterey didn’t tell me… I had to call in to find out. A month later, I made space in my apartment for someone to take over my current lease and they were fully moved in. However, when March 15th rolled around my move in date was pushed out another month I’m very short notice (which seems to be a habit of this team). I called in because I was understandably upset, but when I complained the manager Whitney recommended I give up my deposit and find a new place to live. No accountability, no follow up, in fact when I wanted some kind of reason as to why my move in date was pushed out I had to call in… once again. The team their told me that they didn’t have my phone number, but that was a lie. I submitted my number along with my application in January. Fast forward to April 4th, I receive an email telling me my move in date would be postponed. But this time is different, when I called in, Whitney told me my move in date would be set for the 25th. She told me that since the delay was scheduled in the same month my move in date was guaranteed, and that previously the team couldn’t make the same guarantee since the delays were pushed out to other months. I had already ordered a carpet and couch cleaning service for the weekend of the 15th and ended up rescheduling it for after the 25th. Fast forward, the Friday before my live in date, on this guarantee I decide to check my email (fully expecting everything to be good)… and my move in date is said to be delayed for 3-4 more weeks. I cannot tell you the degree of frustration I experienced. Not only has my life been packed in boxes for 3 months, not only do I have my replacement tenant already living in my leased space, but the team at Monterey didn’t own anything. Worst experience of 2021.
I would recommend but I would warn you about the problems of water, dog poo and mostly the kind of people there are in the office are not friendly.
It's a very good price being right in the heart of the community.
Its a great place to live 99% of the time.....
It was the most pleasant move in experience I've had. Everything is better than I expected. Fantastic staff and the apartment is beautiful.

Management is good. However, the complex itself needs alot of work. A/C units or BTU'S of those units causes costly bill. The roofs needs redone. The laundry room is horrific. I think the machines are from the 70's. Most of the A/C are mix matched. Loud neighbors and make sure you don't live by the bar its extremely loud on the weekends. The new management is doing their best but resticted due to their budget.Whomever was managing the property before really dropped the ball. The parking lot is oil stained. I really hate to go on because the mangers are so nice. The place really needs alot of work The rent is a little high for the conditions. The front gates are always break down due to some unhappy tenants.

I have lived here for 10 years. It is a great place. It has gates to get in and out. It is close to the I15, and close to the airport. The are two great shopping places with in 2 miles. Target and Walmart shopping centers, also a couple of markets. One is within walking distance. There are several place to eat. I have not had any problems that were not taken care of either that day or the following day. There are 2 pools and 2 laundry paces. They are both kept very clean. There are several family that live here and the kids are very quite and nice. There is a curfew for kids and it is 10 p.m. There are a couple of areas where you can BBQ and eat outside. Myrna p.
