Where do I even start? First of all everything in our apartment seems to be falling apart due to everything being outdated. Weve lived here since June of 2022 and we've had our doors fall off, the door handles fall off, the toilet clog many times, the heater stop working, the washer needing to be replaced, the door sweep needing to be replaced, the neighbors dogs bark all through the night and management does nothing. We now have a bigger issue and that being MOLD growing ALL OVER our apartment. We told management AND the maintenance crew that the ceiling above our shower was starting to bubble and fill with water in SEPTEMBER and months go by and its now February and the once was small bubble never got fixed and was simply neglected turned intl a BIG bubble lf water so we called management and told maintenance again and finally someone came to look at the problem, they still havent fixed it they just cut a decent size hole in the paint to air it out which turned moldy. When they were told about mold they did nothing and still haven't done anything about it. All I got was a smile and a chuckle and a lazy apology from the new community manager Linda. I got very stern with her because we have a mold issue that wont get fixed when we have a 3 MONTH OLD BABY and she seemed so uninterested in helping us or at the least feeling sympathy. Linda has not shown to be a "community" manager due to her not caring for the community. I asked if they have tested it for mold and unsurprising they dont test for mold, its the responsibility of the residents who were wrongfully put in the situation. We are in the process of moving out early because it's unsafe for everyones health. While moving out we have found more issues due to more things falling apart. Im not the only one moving out due to MOLD, there are currently two more couples with children also moving out all for the same reason. I was told by my neighbor that her car was broken into and montair did nothing abaout it, not to mention they dont have any cameras set up. When it was really icy out montair failed to lay down salts to prevent falls and unfortunately i fell walking down the stairs to the parking lot with my at the time 2 month old in hand, i 100% blame montair for not preventing accidents from happening. Im in building number 8 so if your near me, CHECK FOR MOLD. Linda told me with the maintenance guy in the same room that there's mold everywhere in the complex.
It’s a wonderful neighborhood! Very beautiful to look and and the insides of the apartment are even better.

Units, views are serene. The club house is stunning. The appliances are perfect for a modern look. The deck is the right size for the family to kick back and unwind on a summers night.

Promises never full filled. Promised new washer and dryer for 3 yrs now and nothing. Pay for pest control and I have to do my own due to all the spiders, ants and earwigs here. Property dirty and no hose to clean siding. The noise is so bad with loud neighbors who do not care and management will do nothing. We pay so much and no one will do anything to help us.

Don’t come to Montair, Poor Management/Maintenance, nothing gets fixed properly or the office just never contacts you unless you don’t pay your rent. Im never renting here again. Would not recommend to anyone. Can’t wait for our lease to end

The rental process at Montair was simple and painless. The complex has beautiful landscaping and views of Olympia.
Don't rent here. Free mold with every lease. Maintenance will close out work orders with zero work being completed. Sewage in restrooms in building 8.
Worst apartment ever. Staff is non responsive and terrible.
My experience in the Montair community has been fairly decent. The people and Staff are friendly, and there are lots of community places for activity's.
I've lived here for almost 3 years now, and it's been very pleasant. I tend to keep to myself, but my fiancé is very sociable and most of the people we meet around the apartments are friendly. The views, though, are breathtaking, and that alone is a reason to stay.
Overpriced, things in my apartment barely work. Not worth the money.
I am so pleased at the efficiency and communication and quality I have received during our move in process. Would definitely recommend

The “renovated” apartments are done so cheap the old ones are better. The apartments with no carpet, sound travels so bad. I can hear my Neighbors phone vibrate and I can hear them sneeze. The carpet really helped with the sound. It’s impossible to get ahold of the office for maintenance or anything else. They are never there or never answer the phones or emails or requests thru the portals. Worst apartments I’ve ever been in.

Montair staff has made things easy and breezy, just as I would describe their neighborhood as well! Back off the main road, Montair is a semi hidden gem! The apartments were beautiful and had all of the appliances we needed. We enjoy not having to walk our trash to the dumpster and LOVE that we now can recycle! The move in process was super easy and we are so far glad that we chose this for our new home!

Only good thing is the price you pay. Its cheap but you also get what you pay for. So poor communication with the leasing office, and poor care for their tenants safety. We have mold issues and we dont know why. Its gotten on clothes, shoes, and other items. My passport was destroyed by mold. We told them about the mold and all they did was tell us to clean it with bleach and that they would paint over it. Mind you weve cleaned it before with bleach and it just keeps coming back. I truly believe theres mold in the walls, because the mold isnt being caused by us or anything thats were doing or not doing. We have a toddler and a baby, mold can cause so many health issues for them. Even for us. My husband was having really itchy eyes when we would sleep in there as soon as we stopped, his eyes stopped itching.

Montair is a decent place to live but be warned that there are blemishes / repairs needing to be done on various things. I have a mold smell that comes and goes from my sink and the trash people are not the best

Is very unprofessional the team, the apartments floor plan is terrible the walls are thin and ceiling is thin as well. The washer machine started having problems that they didnt want to resolve, the cabinets coming off, the shower handles broken, the fridge leaking water and making our food go bad. The parking is terrible we had a family SUV broken into the apartments didnt care. The worst experience Ive ever had.

Nice apartments. Small for price. Can hear everything your neighbors do. Strongly recommend getting a top floor unit if possible, otherwise youll hear every foot step and tv show your upstairs neighbor watches.

The office staff is the most unprofessional and rude staff ive ever dealt with. Maintenance orders take MONTHS to be worked on. They have no problem asking for rent during a pandemic but cant answer a phone call or reply back to multiple emails.

Angela in the office is absolutely amazing. I had toured the apartment and that same day she stayed a little later to get started on our lease. We had the keys the next day! Shes great at responding and shes overall a great person to be around. She gave us information on the area (stores, restaurants etc) and the best wifi to have here! The staff here is great so far. Super friendly. Its rare you find that here.

These apartments are very beautiful at first glance, but upon closer inspection are found to be very cheaply made and repaired/refinished. The walls, floors and ceilings are very thin- you can hear every step your neighbors make. Cheap repairs in the home are unsettling for the steep price of the homes. The staff have been nothing but lovely but communication is difficult unless you email them. Many of my phone calls, even if I left a voice message, went unanswered. Because of COVID-19, I was not able to view my unit prior to signing the lease. If I had seen this unit before signing I probably would have went with a different place. For the price I pay here, I could have easily rented or mortgaged a beautiful 3 bedroom home with nine of the problems I have here. Pretty disappointed but all of that but I will say that the overall aesthetic on the inside is great and the unit is very spacious.

In May, I began my fifth year here at Montair, where I love living for the location, amazing views, wonderfully spacious apartments, and most importantly, for the staff. I wish I could give the staff more than five stars! Everyone with whom I have interacted is amazing. They're always friendly, patient and willing to answer questions or address concerns in a timely fashion. Kaylin (I'm sorry if I've misspelled your name) has answered the phone numerous times when I've had a question and been nothing but helpful and kind. I want to specifically commend Angela for going above-and-beyond. Not only do I enjoy seeing her whenever I'm in the office because she's so kind and outgoing, but she's amazingly helpful. I recently submit a maintenance request, and the experience was incredibly painless. Within an hour, a friendly maintenance team member was here to resolve my issue promptly and easily. Most importantly, he did this with the smile I always see from property staff. Thank you all, for everything you do! It's greatly appreciated, and I certainly don't plan on going anywhere!

I've really enjoyed my time at Montair. I absolutely love the location being that I am a student at SPSCC and it is only minutes from the college. I also love that it is on the bus line and only a ten minute ride to the store. The view is also amazing as I step out onto my back patio and see the Capitol building.

The leasing staff is very friendly and the property is beautiful. I love how well kept the grounds are. Additionally, the amenities are far superior to other places I have lived. The leasing process was relatively easy and efficient. The location is ideal. There's trash on the ground and massive dog crap in the lawns(not enough dog waste containers.) I got told they were an eyesore but mounds of crap isn't. How and where are kids supposed to play without rolling or stepping in crap or garbage.The units are poorly slapped together to get the next renter in. And the rates go up but why,nothing has changed in my apartment it's the same but now for $50 more.. It is quiet I do appreciate that the front door garbage pickup is a mess especially when people don't follow the rules.

Hi, we're disappointed to hear of the negative experience you had at our location.
I've lived at Montair for two years and while I'm thankful to have a home, my apartment is average. I don't know any of my neighbors, but most are quiet. The office support responds if you go to their office and find them directly. Maintenance is worthless and don't expect to get high need work done unless you do it yourself or hire outside repair.
The service here is great. Everyone in the office an out are really nice .
Move to montair at Somerset Hill if you want indifferent help, subpar plumbing, and careless office staff. The office only has one woman who is remotely competent. Over the last two months we've been without functional plumbing for a cumulative 20 days AND COUNTING.
Amazing
Stay away from this place. They will enter your apartment without giving notice and change your mailbox keys without telling you. Communication amongst the staff is nonexistent, and your maintenance requests will not be addressed for weeks, if you're lucky.
