My time at the monarch is almost up. It has been a good experience aside from some minor issues. Overall convenient place to stay if you work at the hospital or medical offices near by. Gets noisy when the weather is warm, ambulances, fire trucks, police sirens and cars.

The apartments are clean, most of the staff are really nice. The sucky part is after like 6pm or 7pm there's less parking unless you go to 6th floor.

We have lived here at the Monarch for four years. This has been our best apartment experience ever. The property and the apartments are well maintained, and the management is very responsive to requests for maintenance and other issues. We love the neighborhood and feel safe walking our dogs late at night. If you work in or near the Medical District in Fort Worth, you owe it to yourself to check out units available here. The Monarch is a great place to live.

I was really enjoying the monarch when I first move here, but some negative experiences have dampened that excitement. I can say the community is kept clean, needs minor updates like the parking garage gate. Neighbors complain even if you mind your own business. Management is good about responding. Community events could use some work.
I really enjoying living here so far. It is close to a lot of good restaurants and the commute to my workplace in the medical district is really nice.

Wonderful staff and amazing complex. The units themselves are spacious and well maintained. Very warm feeling in the complex thanks to the lounge area! The surround area of Magnolia is also walkable and such a plus.

If you are looking for a property to call home and a leasing team that makes sure you feel welcome then The Monarch is for you. I have had the best experience moving into my new one bedroom. The team of Tarek, Alejandra, and Ana are phenomenal. They answered all my questions and made sure to help every step of the way. Move-in was superb and the neighbors were helpful as well as Shawn in maintenance. My apartment has everything I need and the location is perfect for working in healthcare. Mostly good things to say. Nice and quiet most of the time, I’ve only had problems twice with my upstairs neighbor; and the office staff contacted them promptly about it. The parking garage has had theft of 2 vehicle’s tires/wheels, leaving the vehicles on blocks. It took over 3 months to get my AC replaced/repaired during summer time- not due to maintenance not trying- I think they were getting blocked with budgets. My neighbors are kind. The location is perfect. Close to the highways, and easy to get places. Lots of food options within walking distance. Price is a little excessive. Pool is kept clean, but you only get direct sunlight between 11-2 during the summer. Gym is small, but nice and clean. Dog parks are great, though the main one smells of dog pee most of the time.

I have lived here for a little over two years now and it has been mostly great. The amenities are well taken care of, clean leasing areas and work spaces, and a great coffee machine that stays well stocked. The apartment units are well prepared for move in with fresh paint and cleaned. The location is very close to the hospitals so there are a lot of medical staff who live here. Everyone who lives here are very respectful with noise and cleaning up after themselves in the common areas. The only downside is that since the apartments are located in the heart of Ft. Worth it can sometimes mean there have been stolen cars from our garage and break ins to some of the cars on the ground level. Overall I have enjoyed living here and would recommend it to a friend !

No complaints. I like living here, property is kept clean, safety is not a concern and the office staff is attentive and friendly. The area is close by to many food places and shops. I love the walkability of the monarch apartments. You get the downtown living feel without all of the crazy traffic!

I have lived at this complex for almost 5 years. I am a good tenant and have always paid my rent on time. When I first moved in, this was a great place to live with a great management team. They were very kind, helpful and efficient and any maintenance concerns were addressed right away. Within the last year or so, new management has taken over and everything about this complex has gone downhill. The halls are dirty, there is mismatched and chipped paint all over the walls. The elevator goes out on a regular basis. The halls smell like marijuana every day. Packages are regularly stolen from tenants' doorsteps. When I reported this issue, the solution provided to me was to get a ring doorbell camera. Upon reviewing my lease, we are not even allowed to have ring doorbell cameras without written permission. I have had issues with roaches for the last year and when I have brought my concerns to management I have been told that they are "just water bugs." I was not even able to pay a company to come spray the apartment at my own expense because the staff said they have a contract with a specific company. My AC unit has not been cooling properly since the beginning of September when it was 100+ degrees outside. I have submitted 8 maintenance request. I have gone to the office in person countless times and made 10+ calls to the office, the majority of which have gone unanswered. When they have been answered and I have asked to be called back with updates, my calls have never once been returned. When maintenance finally came to fix the unit, they showed up with no prior notification and the repair ended up taking 9 hours. I have one bathroom in my apartment. A few hours after they left, the AC unit began to leak. I submitted another maintenance request yesterday evening for the leak. I called this morning to see if the office would let maintenance know about the leak to which they responded "he is working on work orders today and will see your work order at some point." There is a complete lack of communication, respect or accountability to tenants of this complex. The staff is rude, disrespectful, and seemingly unbothered by legitimate concerns expressed by tenants. My rent has continued to increase to prices more than the offers made to new tenants as listed on the website despite many units being vacant. My resident services fee has also increased. I have no idea where this money is going since it is clearly not going towards the upkeep of the complex.

Hands down the worst place I’ve ever lived. The leasing office is honestly evil, malicious and will gas light you. I cannot stress enough how much the leasing office ruins this place. They use fetch which is a pain and packages will get stolen. Half of the outlets in our kitchen were never wired for electricity and never worked. They will change up parking rules at random and tow your car immediately if you don’t see the new, poorly explained rules. Additionally, one of the people living in my unit NEVER got any emails from them (including stuff like new parking rules) no matter how many times we went to the office asking them to add her to the mailing list. A horrific leasing office ruins a place that had potential based on the location. But no matter what the cost is for an alternative place to live, pay it. Run s fast as you possibly can from this place. I would give it 0 stars if that was an option.

Work order request and email notification settings can be submitted/adjusted in the resident portal for prompt assistance when issues arise. It is impossible to get in touch with the management here. The phone system takes you through eight menus like a CVS. The staff is all new and unaware of any policies or rules. The manager is nowhere to be found. Avoid this place like the plague! We had an electrical issue in our apartment where the breaker box kept tripping. When we would turn on the washer, the fridge would lose power. When we used the microwave, the washer lost power. We attempted to contact the office multiple times and were unable to get a hold of anyone until Friday April 29th when my husband hand delivered a letter to the office detailing our issue. That was 3 days after we tried to initially contact them. The leasing office did not tell us that our unit does not come with a balcony although we were clear that we wanted a balcony. We would like a different unit, but are unable to actually speak to anyone in management here. When we spoke to the leasing office woman she told us that she does not know who would be able to help us with our problem. She said that manager isn't available on weekends. Ok???

Under the new management the courtesy officer never responds to noise complaints nor does management respond to calls or emails regarding complaints. Ever since the management started closing on Sunday the tents below me have been playing there music so loud my floor vibrates under my feet. Today the music started at 930am. I have made several complaints and not one has been answered or acknowledged. Rent is to expensive here to have to deal with lack of response from management and unruly tents.

This apartment is unethical, lack morals and character. They will harass you and ask you to move out prior to the end of your lease. Then they will send you to collections for $300 for trash bags due to their failure to pick up the trash daily. Even though you pay a trash valet fee monthly, your trash will not get picked up. Prepare to be harassed and have your privacy rights imposed on.

I've been with Monarch since they first opened and I've loved the experience here! Their staff has been amazing, helping me with every question and service request that I've had, and super personable! It is a brand new apartment complex with a great low-key atmosphere right in your "backyard". Thought I would take the time and list a few of the pros/cons of the place: PROS: - Wonderful staff - Amazing price (or at least when I signed a lease, it was) - Perfect location near restaurants, events in the area, etc. - Fitness studio is the best - Community events each month - Community bootcamp on Tuesday's - Amenities like the coffee bar and cookies that always called my name CONS: - Fire alarms went off once (freak-accident, fixed) - Payment method charged a $50 fee (now you can link your bank and not be charged a penny, fixed) Reason, I'm leaving is because I have too many commitments in Dallas and no longer want to spend the time nor money on the commute. There is nothing wrong with the apartment complex!
