At 7,000 feet elevation in the world's largest ponderosa pine forest, Flagstaff combines mountain town living with a rich cultural scene. This high-altitude city, home to Northern Arizona University, features a downtown area where historic Route 66 architecture meets local shops and restaurants. The rental market shows average rents at $1,741, with a slight decrease of about 1% year-over-year. One-bedroom apartments average $1,663, while two-bedroom units typically rent for $2,079.
As the world's first International Dark Sky City, Flagstaff offers exceptional stargazing at the historic Lowell Observatory. The city sits just 80 miles from the Grand Canyon, while the San Francisco Peaks provide opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and skiing at Arizona Snowbowl. Notable areas include the historic downtown district with its preserved architecture, the walkable Southside neighborhood near the university, and the tree-lined streets of east Flagstaff's Continental Country Club area.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Millpond Village Apartments
I found bedbugs within 1 week of moving in. The management blamed me for bringing them and refuses to do anything about it!
this woman is very difficult to deal with. whenever a tenant comes with an issue minor or serious, the answer is always ' this is the best we can do". She has been incredibly rude and short tempered. We have been doing our own maintenance due to their maintenance team leaving messes and incomplete jobs in our unit. terrible management, low quality facilities. The pool has never been heated despite the website and listings claims. laundry facilities are almost always dirty or broken. I am not impressed and would move but dont have the time to make a change yet.
This apartment complex is a great place if you want to live close to campus and downtown Flagstaff. It is located within walking distance of north campus. These apartments are good if you like living in an area that feels like more like a neighborhood than an actual complex. The rent is extremely reasonable for being so close to campus.
