Property Ratings at Midtown at Camp Springs
I’m being honest I’ve live here almost 6 years and each year has gotten worst. I’m finally fed up and moving. The new owners only do cheap fix’s to the surrounding property and sad to say they can’t even keep a steady staff of leasing agents either. You better hope you never need a repair because you’ll be having to call repeatedly and walking into the office to get anything done. Also, you have to watch for all notices and keep all receipts because they had a glitch in their system and said I didn’t pay rent and filed a court action against me. Eventhough the case was dismissed it still stayed on my rental credit report, and they lied to say everything would be cleared up. I had to file a court action against them to get it fixed for real. So many more horrible stories to tell and photos to document the truth but If you still choose to move here only rent a place in the same building that the leasing office is attached to, it’s the building with all the amenities and the only thing they keep nice obviously.
I recently moved into these apartments, I can say the staff and the way the community is well kept is a total vibe. If your looking for a place Midtown At Camp Springs is the place to be the customer service from Christina was impeccable the way she gets the job done, her energy, the professionalism she's the best.
Absolute Pleasure I recently moved into these apartments, and I must say, after reviewing other apartments in the area I feel like this is a place I can call home. The staff here is friendly, polite, knowledgeable, accommodating and patient. My tour was excellent, the facilities are well kept, and the amenities (indoor pool, gym, rooftop terrace, etc...) are icing on the cake. I am absolutely looking forward to hosting my family for the holidays...may even use the community room ;-). I am clearly looking forward to my time here at Midtown.
The way my wife and I were greeted at the door was amazing! Ms. Tina was very knowledgeable and funny! She introduced us to Ms.Davis as well, who was full of energy and very pleasant! We really enjoyed our visit to this property! They even had an door pool! We have a few more tours scheduled but this property is definitely at the top of our list! Thanks Tina!

“I recently toured this community and while it is not as up to date as I’d like, the staff there are an absolute vibe! They are really pleasant and was a joy to tour with! The property manager even joined us on the tour!”
I'm pretty happy with this place. I did have an issues with my plumbing once but they got it taken care of immediately and I have not had issues since. Overall, I am pretty happy.
Great space very convenient location office staff is Wonderful and an absolutely joy to work with Especially the property Manager. Maintenance staff response is immediate and efficient.
This apartment complex is hands-down one of the best apartments I ever moved in the Maryland area I love our indoor pool and the friendly staff
Not worth it you have to pay for everything here the property value is going down by the day been living here 4 months already can’t wait to move mice problem alarm problems package FedEx problems cleanliness problems u have to pay for parking and trash towing is Horrible no street pack no parking on the weekends u have to pay for guest parking I wouldn’t recommend this place and management lies they tow at 6 the tow at 6 the tow all day in the weekends it’s a joke save your money go else where or u will regret it like I am right now
I held on to a lease for a year. At first i was absolutely impressed with the cleanliness of the property when it was managed by prior management. As a tenant Ive noticed the property changing as the property manager changed. I was not impressed with the changes. Im not one who put down negativity but the truth is the truth. The property manager lack professionalism and diligence more than a little bit. Unfortunately my car has been broken in to, my mail box has been broken in to and the current property manager was personally informed by me and nothing was done other than false hope. I have yet to hear of any conclusion or solution to these current events. I also was harassed by an former security who no longer was employed but acting as if he was due to "recent car thefts", the next week my car was broken into, strange. Dont even bother trying to call to report anything and expecting and resolution because youll never get a call back unless you inquire with the only staff member who actually take care of you with no problem even if she has to go the extra mile because no one else cares other than her. To say the least, one staff member I can appreciate is Lataya. Im sure other tenants would absolutely give the same review. If you ask me Lataya should actually be the property manager because she's the only one who gets the job done and actually cares about our living conditions. Property is tidy and clean. Would I move back?.. Only if Lataya or anyone of her skill set and work ethic get in the seat of the property manager so the property wont be a waste of space due to neglect from current management.
I lived at a Sage property and am beyond disgusted with my families experience. The way Sage conducts business and treats their residents is unacceptable. While living at Midtown at Camp Springs, we experienced repeated horrible customer service and several managers that would evade assisting their residents, marijuana smell seeping into apartments, car break ins, ice cold pool (advertised as heated) with either no lifeguard or lifeguards who would invite their entire family and friends over and play loud music, etc. We of course moved out, sighing a lease break agreement with the manager and have done everything in accordance to the lease and said agreement. But of course upon move out Sage can’t figure out the correct charges and apparently can’t even decipher their own signed agreement. Not surprisingly all phone calls and emails to both the property manager and accounts receivable manager at Sage Management office go unanswered. Sage has shown an abysmal display of competence. Apparently, they have time to remove bad reviews from their page but not answer customer inquiries or address complaints.
DISGUSTING PROPERTY! Property management is lackluster. There are always new people at this office I wonder why. The staff here commits fraud and think they can get away with it. It is hard to even get in contact with anyone, they never answer the phone. There is a lot of crimes, drug use/pollution it was even a murder on the property. The apartments are run down and over priced. They charge for parking and don't guarantee you a spot, there are 18 spaces for a building that has 25 units. I'm not sure they even have a groundskeeper, the property is very trashy. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere don't waste your time or hard earned money.
I must say I have the best of the best! Apartments are spacious and fully carpeted, stainless steel appliance, granite countertops and what else??? Full size washer/dryer, indoor pool (heated in the cold months) and 24 hour fitness center (no excuse not to workout) hehehe!! Easy accessible to grocery shopping and right next to the metro for my commute into Washington, DC. All common areas are always well kept and the staff is amazing! My property manager and assistant manager are so polite and attentive to my need always. Your request are submitted online and acknowledged the same day. Next day your request is completed with a friendly note on your countertop stating the "task has been completed". How's that for quick service? I moved from the hustle and craziness in NYC, but I feel so at home and still the luxury surroundings of New York City. Thank you for everything Carmel!!
I moved into this apartment blindly due to the fact that I was in California and was unable to fully participate in the process of apartment shopping. From the outside everything looked great, I was sold when they told me that a basketball court was on the roof. However the problems started within the first two weeks of moving. If apartment complexes could be considered "lemons" then this was definitely one of them. The staff in the office is very polite with the exception on one person, the gym area is okay, they have an indoor swimming pool thats open sometimes and the basketball court on the roof is decent and the biggest perk is that the metro stop is right next door so its convenient if you do not have a vehicle. However the compliments stop there; within in two weeks of living there our hot water went out and then when they fixed it, it went out again about a week after that. This hot water issue lasted for about 4 months in total until they finally fixed the issue. The carpet that they use inside the apartment is very cheap, which is something that I wouldn't expect when we pay in the excess of 1500 dollars a month. The metal shelves in the rooms were not finished and both me and my fiancee have cut ourselves on the unfinished shards of metal. They just recently fixed the metal after about 9 months of being on the lease. The hall way and elevators constantly smell of marijuana which is sad for a place to look so nice on the outside but be so unkept internally. Overall the complex is okay, I wouldn't stay here long term, the staff is nice and the place has a lot of potential but right now I do not think they are doing the best they can do to ensure that renters are getting the most for their money.
This building is very solid, all brick with concrete, practically sound proof---very large spacious hall ways making moving in and out easy with 24 hour access. This building provides ample parking with garage and visitors spaces, and roof parking with kiddy play area. The apartments are designed well with spacious kitchen area with ceramic floors, washer and dryer and large bed rooms. The complex offers a 24 hour access fitness and business center, with heated indoor pool. The landscaping is excellent with 24 hour security. Carmel offers a party room for residents for relaxation with living room style sitting area and Billiards room. Carmel Midtown Square is minutes away from the Marlow Heights shopping center. All of the amenities makes Carmel Midtown Square a Safe and very comfortable living choice---come , and be my neighbor!!! Alfred B, Eloise W.
I love my apartment and the area it is located in. Metro is just across the dtreet. The staffis just excellent and is always here to help with all my request. I can't think of another place to live and I have been here since October 2009. I love the upkeep of the property. It is always immaculate. This is an ideal place to live.
The metro is in walking distance, people are friendly, staff and residents. I love how spacious my apartment is. The only thing I don't like is that they cannot program my number into there system so I can buzz visitors in, you have to have a local number. There is a pool, gym, and very small playground and half basketball court. Besides all that I really like my place, big walk in closets, bathroom, and bedrooms. The staff also celebrate National Cheesecake day, residents appreciation cookout/pool party, and etc.
