Apartments for Rent in Miccosukee Greenway, Tallahassee, FL
The Miccosukee Greenway neighborhood starts on the northeast of Downtown Tallahassee, near the intersection of Miccosukee Road and Magnolia Street, and extends northeast along Miccosukee Road. It is named for (and includes) the very popular Miccosukee Greenway, a 12.3-mile trail used for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and jogging. Historic Miccosukee Road is considered one of the city's most beautiful, offering a canopied stretch of natural beauty alongside the trail and park space.
Miccosukee Greenway is a large area that consists of several small communities, including Brewster Estates, Lafayette Oaks, Arvah Branch, and Hillwood. The neighborhood changes from one end to the other; closer to downtown near Magnolia Drive, it is much more urban influenced with large office buildings, shops and restaurants, and the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Near the actual greenway, it becomes much more scenic and wooded, with some cozy residential areas, parks and lakes, and the Tallahassee Automobile Museum. Toward the northeast corner of the neighborhood, it is forested and rural.
