Property Ratings at Metz Apartments
I am sorry but how this apartment complex got a five star rating . Seriously the cops are constantly being called here . Slot of the people that live here a drug dealers and have a lot of shady looking friends that are constantly pounding on people's windows or on the glass security door trying to get in . I actually had a co worker who lived here and had nothing but nothing but problems starting with no heat during one of the coldest nights in October then to make it worse the manager went into their apt while they were at work and broke the window and left without leaving an explanation as to what they were doing in their apartment while they were work without given any notice what so ever as to why they entered the apartment or how the window got broken . I also know that once again while they were at work they arrived home twice to find their apartment door wide open after they knowingly locked it before leaving for work again with no notice as to why they left the door wide open or why they had entered . First of all most mangers are required to give a 24 hour notice before entering a Tennant's apartment and second of all you don't leave a Tennant's door wide open or go inside break their window and leave . It took the owner 3 months to replace the window and this was in the middle of winter . And the building itself is in bad shape there are holes in the walls in the basement that have not been repaired . It"s obvious the landlord doesn't care about the building or he would hire maintenance personal that know what they are doing . This place honestly looks like a slum . Not 5 star worthy at all I gave it one star because in order to review it you have to rate it .
I lived at this place for roughly 4 months I actually couldn't stand it anymore. First of all I never seen either a manager or the landlord on premises . Nor do I even recollect any of the Tennant's being given gift cards right before the holidays by the owners they were never here . What I do recall was some guy getting robbed by some thug on premises . Drug dealers in and out at all hours of the night and the cops constantly being called . There have been numerous attempts to steal cats out ot the parking lot at night and funny how the security cameras never seem to catch who is doing it . The buildings it self are in deplorable condition holes in the walls by the storage rooms that have never been repaired and people have been seen sleeping in the storage rooms .There have been unauthorized entering of the apartments by manager without prior notice or the Tennant being home . Literally one of the worst places I have ever lived at would not recommend this place at all. Numerous people have moved in and within a month are moving all their belongings back out in the middle of night .
I have been living here for roughly 6 months now and I have never seen not only a manager that cared as much as she does, but the owners visit often as well and care for each tenant. The manager and owners know each tenant by name and gladly ask how family are doing and really show that they care for who is living in their building. These apartments are well-maintained, clean and are full of friendly tenants. The nicest part is that for the holidays the owners handed our gift cards to the tenants to help ease their holiday stresses. I don't think that I could find more caring individuals to run an apartment complex than this one.
