Meridian at Grandview

Completely and totally unsafe community, more of a frat house feeling than a home. If you like your stuff broken into and stolen. Your sleep interrupted by constantly loud and obnoxious noise from people being drunk at all hours of the night then this place is for you!

This place has become very unsafe since the new management and they don’t care if your stuff is stolen, their response is only “well we are new”. Homeless people were sleeping in the building last week, packages are stolen all the time and cars are constantly broken into. 0/10 recommend this place

The cortland meridian makes you feel immediately at home. It is a large community where there is always someone willing to help you. I love to stay here, the place is safe and it is in a good position.

I am a current resident. I like this place. There are a few things to watch for They tell you there are other charges for common are expenses. They don’t tell you how much this adds up. It’s more than I thought it would be. They need to just be up front and charge rents that cover the common areas. They can advertise lower rent if they do it this way. The lighting on the streets makes it look like daytime all of the time from my apartment. The windows are old and need replacing. They are old, drafty, and there is condensation between the panes. I like the amenities, the staff, and the location.

I love living at the Meridian because the amenities are fantastic! I also love that it's close to the hospital, I ride my bike to work everyday and it's so much faster than driving. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, it's been a great experience!

The Meridian is simply the best. The staff makes living here feel like home and they go out of their way to make sure residents feel appreciated, happy, and overall completely satisfied!

As my third apartment complex in the last few years, I can say Cortland Meridian has great amenities, facilities, and a great community all around. The staff is always helpful when you need them. Very happy I moved here.

Overall a decent place to live. Good location and price, but definitely some things that could be cleaned up. The grounds of the complex just don't have a clean feel with the trash site being grossly overfull a lot of the time. Hallways of buildings have a dingy feel, but once you are in the apartment itself it is nice. Issues with management dragging their feet on getting some of the amenities (pool/grills) fixed and opened and were not straight forward to us about this. Maintenance calls are quickly responded to and fixed.

I have loved living at The Meridian for the last four years. I have had a great experience with everyone from the leasing consultants to the grounds keepers. They are all great and have made my past four years at The Meridian one of the best apartment experience I have ever had. I would recommend moving here to anyone!

A very homey community in a city that has a lot going on.

I love living at the Meridian. The front office staff is so attentive and friendly. The grounds feel very welcoming and safe. I greatly enjoy the gym, the pools, and the other amenities. I also adore the apartment itself. Location is great, too. I would definitely recommend living here!

I have lived at the Meridian since the summer of 2019, and the level to which the quality of the property management has fallen is unbelievable. When the pandemic hit in March 2020, nearly every aspect of living at the Meridian became considerably worse. At first I understood the closure of community amenities, but after nearly a year without access to the community amenities, I am upset that more has not been done to either ensure continued access to the amenities or to give a reduction in rent. We pay very high rent and part of that cost is for amenities, so if we are not using them we should not have to pay for them. In addition, the appearance of the property has fallen considerably. By Sunday every week there is garbage overwhelming the entire property, smelling up and littering the complex. The overall appearance of the grounds, both landscaping and ground work is worse. Worse than all of this however is the crime. My car was broken into in the garage (and I know other residents' cars were broken into as well, even one who had his tires slashed), and nothing was done to follow up. Packages are routinely stolen from being allowed to sit outside. The locks are broken on many doors, and the garage doors are routinely left open, with little initiative shown by management to fix the issue. Because of this lack of management, the Meridian has obviously become a target for criminal activity, making me feel less safe than ever in my home and again leaving me frustrated with the amount I pay in rent to live at a complex which is doing nothing to ensure the safety and security of its community.

Caylee in the front office has always been super helpful since I first signed my lease. Most recently I began using a composting service in Columbus that requires putting my compost bucket out once a week for pick up. During a situation in which it went missing Caylee was super helpful in the process of finding it again for me. She really works to make sure residents are happy and comfortable at the Meridian. I highly recommend staying here and working with her. (:

Awesome amenities that are taken care of, with a staff that always wants to/is there to help

The Meridian is more than a place to call a community, its a place to call home.

Each staff treats the residence with great respect and take issues/requests seriously. Feel safe and cared living in this community. Thank you all of the staff for working hard to make each day count!

The walls are really thin. The windows are not well constructed. Every noise outside you can hear. Every step your upstairs neighbors take you can hear. Every noise in the hallway you can hear. I had my sister spend the weekend with me and she was shocked by the noise level of the upstairs neighbors and hallways. She said this felt like dorm living. This isnt luxury living. Outside looks nice.. inside isnt. You can find more affordable rent for better living.

I have been at the Meridian for more than 15 years and I saw several companies taking over the complex. Cortland has, by far, the best employees one may expect

If you're looking for a safe apartment situation with some luxury conveniences such as granite countertops, garage parking, a 24/7 fitness center, amongst other great features, then this is a great set up for you!

The staff is excellent. The maintenance crew is timely and quality. Most importantly, the main office is outstanding: very attentive, empathetic, and reliable. They do this with a great demeanor as well. One person in particular comes to mind is Jessica M. She is fantastic in leading the staff and setting a great example of quality listening and problem solving. I always have great interactions when working with Jessica, and it is evident that her leadership permeates across the community.

I have lived at the meridian for 2 years and I have never been disappointed with their service and commitment to keeping the community clean, safe, and welcome. Their staff is exceptional and extremely responsive to any concerns or needs. Theyre understanding and kind with great customer service. Their maintenance requests are always completed promptly. Their groundskeeper keeps the apartment complex clean and an enjoyable place to be outside and walk around. In addition, for the level of service provided, amenities, and location of the apartment complex it is extremely reasonable in price. Overall would always recommend someone renting here - I have loved living here and is my favorite place Ive ever lived!

Need to clean the stairways and hallways

I would choose the meridian over and over again compared to other apartments. This place feels like home and I love the modern feel the apartment offers. I love how dog friendly the place is and as well as the no monthly cost to park in the parking garage. I highly recommend this place and Im looking forward to renewing my lease.

Wonderful team and fantastic facilities

The staff here at the Meridian has been immensely helpful and FRIENDLY, which is always appreciated.If I were to ever have an issue with my living situation, I know I always have an associate to help promptly and kindly. Additionally, I also really enjoy the workout facilities and amenities provided in the community! Everything is kept clean, the layout is both vast and convenient, and has everything I need (including a yoga studio).

Caylee, Jessica, Sarah, and Jim have been a tremendous help and big reason I love this place so much!

The walls are very thin. You can hear everything, especially if youre on the second floor with a tenant above AND below you. Not a very relaxing place to live.

Over 55 a month in hidden fees each month. Parking that no one is ever parked legally and it is difficult for a resident to find a spot. Hallways carpet is in horrible condition. If a package sits too long in the package room they will charge you. Dog crap everywhere cause residence don’t regularly clean up so watch your step.

Fantastic place to escape the city feel without leaving the conveniences of the city

The Meridian near Grandview gives you best of both worlds. Proximity to downtown Columbus but neighborhood feel. This apartment complex has been around for what feels like forever....however!...the current staff couldn't be nicer and more welcoming, making it feel brand new all the time!

I love living here at the Meridian! The apartment is in great condition, and the leasing office has been absolutely amazing in making sure everything fits my needs. I'm so happy I decided to move here!
