Rent keeps climbing without any updates to interior

Rent has increased 40% in 6 years. Which might be acceptable if they also made some updates to the interior of the apartments. The appliances are at least 20 years old if not 25. The dishwasher is so loud you can't run it while you're home. The particle board "cabinets" have peeled down to the fake wood. The carpets are so cheap that even having them professionally cleaned on a regular basis doesn't help them look even close to nice. The garages that house the dumpsters have had dead maggots all over the garage floors for years. There are pot holes all over.

One and Half Years

I lived at Menasha Estates for a year and a half, and had very minimal issues. I only ever had to call them two fix something twice, and it was addressed within a day both times. The people who answer the phones can be short with you, but they havent let me down before. The only complaint was they raised rent 33 percent in march of this year. Not sure if that is their normal practice, or them just sort of catching up to rent in other places. That was rather unfortunate, and why they dont get 5 stars, but it was a nice place, and i never had any issues with neighbors or maintenance.

Bad management, shady practices.

Murphy will charge you late fees that you don't deserve, won't notify you that you have a late fee, then will charge you a late fee on your late fee the next month. The most shady rental management in the area. These apartments are mediocre, rent has been increased to match other places but nothing has been updated in a decade. Coin laundry in the hall is more expensive than a laundromat. Walls are paper thin.

Bad Customer Service

I just received an alert in my email from this place about a 2 bedroom apartment available. Called them and talked to a very rude lady with zero customer service skills!!! I explained to her that I already filled out an application and provide background information. Very rude! I would've seriously considered this place because rent is very reasonable but, not anymore!!!

Bad first impressions all the way around.

I tried to get in contact with the property manager for days(to inquire about seeing an apartment). I called both numbers I was provided by Murphy,.. and on posted ads for this complex. The property managers voicemail is full, and the company just refers you to his number when asked any questions or asked to see an apartment. I was very interested in one of the open apartments, but I will be spending my money elsewhere. Two thumbs down..

Long Time Resident

Here for 3 years and I can say that maintenance is impossible to get anything done, they even did a mandatory viewing of all the apartments and said they would fix a water leak immediately, to which they never did. The on-site "staff" is pretty much non-existent and you will have to call the Green Bay Offices, absolutely anything you need to do with them will have to be physically mailed in, no emails, no calls, only physical mail is allowed. When the grass gets mowed all the dead grass is left on the lawn and not picked up, you will often find trash on the lawn after a mowing. Snow removal is okay but you will get snow piled up to your garage that you will have to shovel out most of the time. They will make you jump through as many hoops as they can so the support doesn't have to do any work, there have been a handful of crimes in the apartments and the management had 0 idea about them nor did they follow-up or take any interest in the matter. Plus side is that the apartments are relatively cheap but have been increasing annually it seems, there are also a swarm of mosquitos due to the "pond" that is just an eyesore and could have been used for anything else and been nicer.

Rude and No Maintenance

Rent is average. However, the management is very rude and they don't pay enough attention on maintenance. You have to follow up to get the maintenance done. Check the roads. Potholes can be seen at many places and you can see water accumulated on the road when it rains. Even the gutter at the back of society is not cleaned. There are many incidents reported where someone broke in to the cars. Not recommended.

Rude

Called the guy wouldn't answer, so we went to the site and found the apartment the guy was in. We rung he answered we asked if he had any apartments we could look at. All he said was none available and wouldn't talk to us anymore.

I've never lived in these apartments, but I tried to call to set up a viewing and the guy on the phone was extremely rude. I politely asked when his next available apartment will be and his response was "I don't know, thanks for calling. bye" and then he hung up...

Menasha Estates

Great quiet place to live. Moved in and the place was very clean and ready for a new tenant. Came with a one car garage with storage and shelving. Plenty of storage space. Neighborhood is great lots of walking and biking trails. Rent affordable and comes with some utilities. Highly recommended.
