Located directly south of I-10 a few minutes from Downtown San Antonio, Thelka follows the San Antonio River south to roughly Sayers Avenue. The center of the neighborhood is home to the large Concepcion Park, a 21-acre park that offers a swimming pool, ball courts, and a playground. It is also home to Mission Concepcion Sports Complex, which provides basketball and volleyball courts. Riverside Golf Course rounds out the neighborhood’s ample greenspace.
Thelka is an established neighborhood with mature trees shading the streets. It offers smaller bungalows and ranch-style homes along sidewalks. While most of the neighborhood is residential, South Flores Street provides a variety of businesses, shops, and restaurants like the popular Silver Star Café and Rudy’s Seafood. The north part of the neighborhood, closer to the highway, contains a wide variety of shops and restaurants.

So far so good but we gotta figure out why the ac goes out all the time. Love the apartment and amenities. They're just found through some upgrades with spectrum that has wicks a little havoc but should be good soon
Everything is wonderful here. The only thing is the walls are so thin you really can’t do anything morning or night. You can hear when the neighbors are in their kitchen or just in their living room watching TV. We have a dog and he likes to play a certain way and it sucks because obviously he’s going to be making noises … and the neighbors will rat you out.
It’s a great community. I enjoy having a large patio area and kitchen. I do wish there were minor upgrades in the complex, such as security cameras in the hallways , and smart home capabilities

Unfortunately this year hasn’t been as great as I know it can be. Staffing levels are low, so the property isn’t fully maintained. The pool has been discolored and closed a good number of times this summer. Property management doesn’t seem to prioritize residents concerns.

The property and amenities are great. Communication from the office is lacking. Call and nobody answers or leave a message and nobody calls you back; either way the only way to talk to someone is actually walk into the office.

So far nice place to live with helpful staff. Lots of amenities included in price so much better value than nearby apartments. There are some cosmetic things that could be done inside the apartment but it was clean on move in.

Truly an oasis in Southtown. The pool is fantastic. The gym is great and usually not crowded. It’s close to a few low key bars and breweries and there’s even a golf course course across the street for those that like to play. There are few downsides but that’s for the renter to decide and they will tolerate on their next hike. It’s close to the river walk path but not the river walk downtown so don’t be fooled but anyone telling you the river walk is right off the property

Great staff, food trucks a couple times a month. Very quiet unless you live by the pool. ?? Still hoping for a side gate to walk out of. Other than that great place to live.

I wouldn’t recommend these apartments. I asked for months for a new gate code I can’t let my friends in. I have black mold growing on the walls and ceilings and they did nothing about it. The neighborhood is not great. There are break ins often. Overall experience not great.

Ive been here since February & have been so thankful for how kind the front office staff has been when I call with questions. (first time renter here). & so thankful for maintenance, he is always SO KIND. I have such quiet & respectful neighbors. The only issue is a package of mine did get stolen from the mailroom, however this doesnt fall on the complex- amazon delivery driver didnt even try to put my package in the locker but just left it on the floor.

Apartment snells like dog, shower was full of mold, the move in process for me was difficult. People leave dog poop, extreme cat urine spray near the stairs where Iive. Concrete stained everywhere because of people leaving trash sitting out. Not sure if there is an onsite porter because there is debris laying around. I am embarrassed to have company come and visit. Overall, looks nice from the outside and the ladies in the office are nice, but this is just an average place. No luxury here.

Everything is way better than I expected, I love how quiet it is here it really is so peaceful! Only problem is parking at night as well as the occasional noise from upstairs neighbors, but what can you do they are just living life same as all of us.

The best complex I’ve lived so far! Amenities and location is the greatest! The only downside is other residences that don’t pick up after their pets.

Digital/automated difficulties but all together the staff, communication, cleanliness and operations during move in is great. Apartments are gorgeous, clean and the amenities are incredible. Excited to be apart of this community!

I recommend DO NOT living on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor. You can hear nearly almost everything and all the office will do is give you the run around and each staff will tell you something different. The amenities are great. The events they have for the residents are great. My time here is coming to an end and I could not be more happy. As much I liked it here, it was also very stressful full of sleepless night because of my upstairs neighbor who was not courteous at all.

One of the best place to live in in San Antonio. Quiet place has everything you need gym, pool, parking, gated can’t. Complain I love it here.
