Appleton is a charming, green city located about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay. It straddles the Fox River at the north end of Lake Winnebago. In addition to a rolling, lush landscape with mature trees and river views, Appleton is a college town -- home to Lawrence University, a private liberal arts college founded in 1847. You'll find plenty of student traffic on College Avenue, which houses Lawrence University. However, more students live nearer to the University of Wisconsin in Menasha, to the south of Appleton city limits. While looking for apartments in Appleton, be aware that this large city spans three counties: Winnebago County, Outgamie County, and Calumet County.

Property Ratings at Meadowbreeze Crossing
Apartments are insanely expensive to heat/cool as there are individual units per room (electric bills were $250 a month!) However the bigger story here is the Property Management team. They do not reply to concerns re: property maintenance, left patio doors and windows UNLOCKED (an intruder tried to enter our apartment!) when showing, and failed to respond to multiple attempts to contact upon move out and security deposit return. We didn't listen upon signing a lease as they were pretty on the outside, but I promise you, it's not worth it.

Thank you for your feedback. In speaking with WE Energies, we know that the electric bill for the apartment you lived in averaged less than half of what you indicated. Our leasing staff does not open windows and doors when showing apartments. We're sorry you felt it necessary to leave a negative review even after we re-rented your apartment after you broke your lease. Much luck in your new place.
