The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Property Ratings at Marquee
Management is incredibly greedy and raises prices out of the blue, the surrounding area is not as nice as they say it is, and there is constant sirens and noises. There was ANOTHER shooting that happened directly in front of the apartment and the complex barely said a thing. They charge for things that no one ever uses, and considering my situation, they lacked complete empathy when trying to break our lease. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!
Property Manager at Marquee, Responded To This Review
Hello, thank you for taking the time to review our community. We strive to create a living environment where residents feel at ease and always adhere to the terms of the lease agreement in fairness to everyone. We are sorry to read your comments regarding our pricing and your disappointment about our lease break policy. Please reach out to us at marqueegm@nolanred.com so we can learn more.
There was a shooting with over 30 bullets and management only cared for profit. They treated affected residents with disrespect and offered nothing besides fake apologies as they try to hide everything under the rug. Do not live here and believe their lies of a 24/7 security. People in the area will try to break into the slow garage doors daily, follow you as you walk your dog, take photos of you, follow you into the building (as security plays on their phone and doesn’t do anything), and harass you.
Property Manager at Marquee, Responded To This Review
We appreciate our valued residents sharing their concerns and feedback regarding safety here at Marquee, so that in turn, we can explore ways to enhance their overall experience. Please know that we take these matters very seriously and, in light of recent events, we have re-evaluated the measures we have in place. We are in the process of adding security cameras in both the interior and exterior common areas of the community and have increased the presence of security to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We've also spoken with the Minneapolis Police Department to increase the frequency of their patrols. If you or any of your fellow residents have questions, or if you'd like to further discuss the changes in security, please call our office at (612) 405-0002 or email mrqpropmgr@villagegreen.com. Sincerely, Marquee Management
I really wish the property managers would manage the property better. They throw more parties then actually working on the concerns of residents. Management fails at basic communication skills. They never answer emails and are very curt sounding on the phone. One manager has her whole family, cousins etc renting apartments here. I was expecting so much more from this building but all i have received so far is bad attitude and dog urine smells in the common areas. There are much better apartments to rent from, this is not it. There was another shooting last week.
This building is terrible. Management is unresponsive and do not care about the building or it’s residents. Building is weekly vandalized and broken into, robberies occur frequently on property. Bikes are stolen cars are stolen and management doesn’t let anyone know! I reported that six bike locks were lying cut in the garage clearly all stolen. They didn’t send a message out to residents about it at all. Shootings occur on a regular basis. I live where I have actually witnessed shooters flee into this building! When reported, management didn’t even respond. Parking garage is filled with cars who don’t pay to park there. Management lets friends park for free while everyone else pays hundred of dollars a month for spots. Which even then doesn’t really matter as I am double parked and blocked in on a regular basis. I had to miss 5 days of work because management didn't respond to my email about being blocked in for 10 days! There is a security guard on property but they literally do nothing. They sleep on the job and I have actually witnessed them allow homeless people to sleep in the lobby because they were too lazy to call police and deal with it. They don’t monitor common areas on the property and when I have reported unsafe situations they have actually told me “that’s not their job and nothing they can do about it, maybe I should call the police”. I asked management for their supervisors information and they did not give it to me. They denied it to me on 4 occasions that I asked and didn’t get ahold of a manger for months. After having to call multiple people at their corporate office I was about to get ahold of their supervisor, who is as incompetent and the management team. Didn’t respond to my messages for 6 days, doesn’t actually read the messages and replies to things I didn’t even ask. When I told them of my experiences he said that “Talesha the manager here says that didn’t happen so I believe her”. Maybe you should believe all the reviews and complaints from other people then. Maybe you should believe the photos and time stamps I have sent you. Do not live here!!!! It’s overpriced, unsafe, dirty, and not worth the stress!
