I just recently moved in yesterday. Harold and Carl were great at providing fast and positive customer service regarding the maintenance issues. My thermostat wasn’t turning on, and the alarm system in my apartment was going off. They immediately helped me turn off the alarm system and showed me how to use it (even after hours). They came first thing in the morning to fix my thermostat. They also helped me with the cart to get my new bed up the ramp into the apartment complex. They were very helpful, but most importantly they both had positive attitudes the entire time.

Marketplace Village charges as if it is a luxury location but they cut corners in every way so the only luxury is the amount or rent you pay. I’m the two months I have been here I have regretted the choice more than I have appreciated it. They will not even clean the filthy halls after multiple complaints. Seems they haven’t been cleaned since the new management company has taken over. Multiple times the fire alarm goes off for no reason. It’s just sad to see such a great place fall off do to mismanagement and cutting corners
Great place when you tour but once you move in you realize that the amenities aren’t keep up so you can’t use them although they are a huge part of the scaling points. Also the common area halls are quite disgusting for such a nice building.

The doors are always broken, either they won’t lock or won’t open. I had to jump over the fence of the pool and pray not to break my next anything because I was locked in. Parking gate breaks often. Package room was broken for months and had packages stolen. Leasing office staff is gaslighting It’s filthy. There’s a huge trash problem and now there are roaches. They tag and tow resident cars. Units have a huge ant problem. Marketplace village doesn’t do its part to uphold that this place is a “luxury” property. There’s nothing luxury about it minus the zip code. The nice things are; maintenance staff is super nice and helpful. It’s located in a great spot. Very accessible to a gym, grocery stores and the freeways.
Lakiesha and Cha-naise are amazing!!! Their assistance and support are top notch. My daughter has been a resident since 2020 and since their arrival, we have noticed significant improvements throughout the complex. Thank you!!
Completely unprofessional staff. They are clearly new to application verification and will waste your time and money. Save yourself the headache and apply literally anywhere else. Also they have "Valet" trash that you have to pay for and is not optional, which just means there's trash everywhere in the halls , bags leaking and the smell is gross.

Overall I love my apartment..some residents need to consider some of us work from home..( playing loud music early in the morning ) overall great place to live!!
Marketplace village staff and Maintenance team are literally the best I have experienced in apartment living! They truly care about their residents and consistently create policies that make our stay here more enjoyable. The entire office staff knows my name, and greets me when I come in! They even remembered I was traveling out of the country and kept an eye on my mail.

The new management and maintenance team are Amazing! They will work with you and even make it a point to get the know the residents. Its great to not be called, Hey you, but to be greeted by name when I go to the leasing office! Just signed my renewal for a second year :)
Dirty, unsafe garage and hard to reach management. A lot of positive reviews on Google look fake. Unless you live in the back or pool area, the street and noise from the stores is very loud
I believe the new management is trying to improve the disaster previous management left behind but it seems they don’t have the resources to get everything done. We desperately need the grounds maintained more thorough including inside hallways and all general, shared areas. I believe management needs additional reliable staff to assist with bringing the community up to the standards we all seek.
Quiet place overall. Neighbors are nice and stay to themselves. Pleasant experience so far.
My experience of living at Marketplace Village have been a nightmare. Between the loud music and raunchy people by the pool, the importance of quiet hours is irrelevant to this location, especially beyond quiet hours. The parking garage if filled with trash on a daily basis and on several occasions I have found animal deifications throughout the hallways. The lack of communication that the leasing office provides this place if unacceptable, especially the issue with the elevators that were inoperable for months with zero communication from the leasing office regarding this matter. I will never recommend somebody to live in a place where your concerns are not heard. Moving forward, I personally will not renew my leasing agreement when that time arrives.
