      Hats off to Mohammad!

      Mariblu Southcenter is a classy looking property, our community! I love living at our community! Mohammad, our Assistant Property Manager is caring and supportive to all residents. He is dependable, trustworthy, and my go-to person. Likewise, and keep in mind, he has an open door policy to all residents. Walk by his office and he will give you a smile and wave at you even when he is busy or on the phone. That's how friendly and courteous he is with everyone! I have been a resident of our community for almost a year now, and still love my home and neighbors. I feel safe and with peace of mind. I have no intention of moving anywhere else as Mariblu Southcenter is my home. As we all know, these days, there is no such a place as a perfect place but Mohammad is keeping our community a safe place to live in. Let us-Mariblu SC Residents make our community a safe place to live with class and level up! Once again, great job, Mohammad! Lastly, Kudos to our maintenance team - Blake and Jeneba for fast and efficient service with all our maintenance request. Thank you Mariblu Southcenter Team for a job well done. You are all very much appreciated!!!

      Do Not Judge Book By the Cover-Poor Management

      Don't judge a book by its cover. The neighborhood is not safe, and I have yet to meet someone who is happy living here, they are just waiting for their lease to expire. The leasing office priority is to make money and protect the management company, Greystar. During your walk-thru they do not mention the crime, theft, homeless and drug use in the neighborhood. The leasing office / Greystar are not financially responsible for anything, so all they do is remind you to maintain your renters insurance, be careful and lock your doors. We are often told to keep are trash in our apartment because the trash cans are full. The elevators are often breaking and it takes 4-5 days to fix. Just before Christmas the pipes in the garage broke and flooded the garage, 2-3 inches everywhere. We were walking in several inches of water for 5 days because they were closed over the holidays and didn't bother to start removing water until 5 days later. Someone was recently shot and killed just down the street about 6:00pm. There is a significant homeless population, transients, drug use and theft. It is very easy for someone to follow a resident into the parking garage by car or on foot. We've had several catalytic converts and bikes stolen out of the parking garage. They recently raised parking from $75 to $125 for no reason. They do not provide any kind of security.

      We are disappointed to learn of your experience here at Mariblu Southcenter! We strive for nothing less than the best for our residents and aim to create an exceptional 55-plus lifestyle and it shows as we retain a very high percentage of our residents! We understand your comments about crime in our area, however we do work closely with our local police department to report and be proactive about crime as we all know that crime can happen anywhere! Not to mention the advanced security features, surveillance, enclosed garage, and courtesy security patrol that our building offers free of charge to our residents that many other communities lack. In regards to garbage and recycling, our community offers very convenient refuse/recycling rooms on all floors with apartment homes so there is no need to go outside to empty your waste/recycling. These rooms can get overwhelmed due to us being a full community but it is not very often and usually due to the waste/recycling companies missing a pickup but will be cleared the next day. Elevators are very complicated machinery and are subject to occasional shut down for maintenance/repair however we are happy to say that we have 2 different elevators in the building and have never had both elevators down at one time or even 1 down for long periods of time. Southcenter is a developing area and while every city has to deal with the homeless population, our area and community has rather minimal issues and the City of Tukwila offers resources to those that are suffering from homelessness. Secured parking has been $125 for the last few years with no increase in cost. Our staff are very involved and are happy to assist residents however they can.
