The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Maple Valley Apartments
I would not recommend living here. The community rules make it difficult to enjoy your home, especially if you have friends or children. Management tends to be unhelpful and at times discriminatory. They charge residents for nearly every replacement, even for normal wear and tear, and the materials used throughout the property — blinds, carpets, and walls — are all extremely cheap and often reused. When I first moved to Columbus, I thought this would be a good place to live, but I was wrong. Take the extra time to find a community with parking lot cameras or gated access, and consider setting up your own surveillance for peace of mind. There’s no gym, no laundry facilities, and residents are made to pay for standard property aging. Overall, this has been the worst apartment experience I’ve had. Hopefully, feedback like this will reach corporate management and motivate them to make real improvements.
One Horror story after another! The unsafe living conditions, unaddressed maintenance issues, infestations, poor management, poor attitudes from management, lack of accountability and a consistent pattern of neglect from office and management.
My first issue is with the Lady Landlord and her husband the maintenance man. If it was up to me I would fire them both. There is suppose to be a second maintenance man, but usually is not. The second maintenance man usually quits and I think it is due to the Lady Landlord's style (or lack of style). She has a few favorites here that get by with anything, all others are met with hostility and ignoring common maintenance. I had to wait two weeks for a replacement dishwasher only to get a use one the was dirty inside and the bottom was covered with broken glass. The parking issues here are ridiculous. The favored few double park, others are towed without notice. There has been an outbreak of bed bugs and mice. I also don't like the landlord gossiping with her tenants. I have been a home owner, a land lard and a tenant. From these three perspectives, this is unacceptable. I recommend that you DO NOT RENT HERE if you care about yourself, your family, your belonging. There are so many bad examples I could give, but will leave it at that.
I been here for over 20 years and love it some new ppl don't follow the rules and that happens they get towed or evicted which it should be when out of town or guest come there is a designated parking spot for them use it. Any place with kids will break the rules it's the parents place to enforce it yes some of the patio gates look bad but people have done that to them and hopefully in the near future they will be replaced as promised. I have had emergency maintenance come at a reasonable request no problems there. As far as break-ins to peoples cars I have seen people leave their keys hanging in the car with the car running, people everywhere steal all we can do is what we can to prevent it, yes I would like larger space but I love the kitchen
I have been here for 5 years. I was worried when the new management took over but all is well. I still see the Police here doing special duty. I have found their maintenance to be top notched
My mother and I have lived in this apartment complex for approximately 2 years now, and we are both beyond ready to move. We are even considering forking out the money to terminate our lease early. Now granted when we first moved in the apartment was disgusting as well, but we did what we had to do to get it cleaned and made livable, but we really should not have had to do that either. The complex was taken over by a new management group about 3 months ago and since then, it has steadily decreased in quality. When we first moved in, there was a police officer who would drive through the complex several times a day at random times just to monitor for mischief. A tow truck would also come through once or twice a day to take away any cars that were parked in tenant only parking spots. Since the new management took over, those things have ceased completely. There are people parking more than 2 cars in tenant parking, working on cars in the lot, and there have been a lot of incidents of people breaking into cars during the night. The quality of their tenants has also gone far downhill. We have had countless new people move in who leave their apartments looking awful on the outside, people who scream and fight out in the parking lots at night, and people who are just generally awful to deal with. The maintenance is lack luster at best. They only half fix anything you call them about. They do not seem to care about any mold issues, broken plumbing, or humidity issues. I advise all of you to REALLY think about your options before you commit to moving in here. The area surrounding these apartments is slowly declining as well. If you have children, I would definitely NOT recommend these apartments.
The review below is not the truth! There is not a pool at this residence, The patios are old and don't stay shut, and it is noisy with kids and neighbors playing loud music everywhere! Management only concerns themselves with neighborhood gossip and collecting money and do not take care of these apartments at all. They are literally falling apart! Our steps caved in and our stove has been broken since our second week living here. The oven gets stuck on for hours at a time and they never consider anything an emergency matinence concern. Its really terrible and I can not wait until my lease ends so my family and I can move! I have even stopped my family from coming from out of town to visit because they will tow your guests car if they feel it has been there too long (usually anytime longer than two days) with no alert at all!
Healthy, nurturing, family friendly, party friendly community. Daycare, schools, church, gyms, clinics, entertainment, nature within walking distance from our front door. Natural daytime lighting. Generous basement. Private fenced in patio opens to pool view. Intimate atmosphere. Home.
Maple Canyon is a great place to stay. It is nice and quiet. The reps in the rental office respectful and friendly. It close to local restaurant and shopping. Good neighborhood for familes and affordable, highly recommended.
