Property Ratings at Maple Grove Commons
If you enjoy breathing, I wouldn't recommend moving to Maple Grove Commons. The smell of cigarette smoke permeates everywhere and management does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it ! It's not a safe place to live.
We’ve lived here for about 2 years and it’s getting worse with time. The smoking
Amanda, the property manager, truly cares about people, her job, and is such a professional!! Amanda has been helpful every time I would ask questions about my apartment, i.e., parking, rent, and maintenance. Renting at Maple Grove apartments has been a great experience and if I wasn't moving out of state, I would continue to make it my home. Thank you Amanda for your help and professionalism!!! It's going to be challenging finding an apartment community as awesome as this one!! Highly recommend living here at Maple Grove Apartments!!
Management has been amazing! Even after accidentally flooding the place, and causing damage to the other floors, they are working with my budget to make a repayment plan.. the apartment itself is nice, large and not noisy at all. It’s been a great place overall but I’ll be especially thankful next year when the closest bus stop will move closer - about half a block away. I love that my building is wheelchair accessible and has central air instead of an ac wall unit in the least used room in my home.. the only real downside for me is the carpet in bedroom and living room is so light it shows every little bit of dirt my wheels drag in…
We’ve lived here for 2 years and within this time frame, there have been 4 different property managers. Seems nobody wants to keep a job here. Management is never on the same page! The maintenance person is rarely on site and does sloppy work when he is around. There are huge issues with smoking here (cigarettes, weed, etc.)! I don’t know what these reviews are referring to when they say management does not tolerate smoking.. we have reported incidences of smoking multiple times and management has done nothing. I assure you your unit will reek of cigarette smoke upon move in. There is trash everywhere on the property and kids running aimlessly down the halls at all hours of the day/night. People take advantage of our parking lot and have no respect for your car. My car has multiple scrapes and scratches from disrespectful people who don’t even have parking stickers. I’m glad they’re finally towing those cars out of here! Fire trucks and/or police are here at least once a week.

I am sorry that you have had a bad experience. I am a new manager and going forward I will try to do my best to resolve the issue.
We will be beginning our 2nd year here soon and love it. Yes, there have been some problems with smokers of both cigarettes and weed as well I believe other illicit drugs, but like the other tenant said it gets taken care of. There are many people, young and old that have health issues here and the NO SMOKING RULE is a GOD SEND for them. Please respect that when considering moving here. The issue with garbage is adults having their children take it to the garbage room and them not being able to lift the bags up to put them in the containers, so, they are left on the floor. The other issue is people not breaking down boxes for the recycling container. But otherwise, we have met some of the kindest people here and for the most part it is QUIETTTT!! There is more noise from traffic then the apartments.
Hey guys this place is awesome! Most of the tenants are super friendly especially those on 3rd floor... Huge and absolutely stunning apartments at unbeatable prices! Management is great and gets maintenance requests done with in the hour! If their ever is trash anywhere which albeit rare, it gets taken care of... As for smoking this is a NO SMOKING apartment Complex! If caught or complaints arise of smoking the tenant to whom responsible will get prompt 5/Day Notice! I love that! It's truly a great place to live and the surrounding community has very low crime rate! I L.O.V.E it here!!
Major smoking problems! Cigarette, pot and other illicit drugs. Management refuses do take action! Building grounds trashed inside. Dirty diapers, chicken bones, bags of trash... If you want to breathe and not be harassed by your neighbors, Don't move here!!!!
