This place changed ownership from when I signed-up earlier this year. Unfortunately, if you're a busy individual (like working in healthcare), even though this place is close to the hospitals - DO NOT LIVE HERE. They find a way to fee you for everything, which makes being a busy healthcare worker/student difficult. I was once charged for having an empty community trash can out in the hallway, and because I worked the wrong shift, the apartment tried to charge me for it being out there while I was working. That is just one example of how petty they are. If there is a problem with rent payment, unlike other places that will correct your error, this apartment would rather hit you with one fee for the mistake, and then another one a week later for being late. In the scenario I am referencing above, they were impossible to get in contact with during the hours I was not working, and then when I wasn't working the manager went on vacation - leaving no one in the office capable of account adjustments for a week. This caused another fee. Folks, today I paid these unjust fees to simply end the madness, because I am a busy healthcare worker. Nobody has time to play phone tag and incur fees throughout the duration. It is not the customer's fault for being busy, it is Mag & Mays fault for not being available. I gave up today after the 6th call - 2 were answered by a nice woman who states all of the reasons why she cannot help you, and how her manager is conveniently always out of office. I will not be renewing even though the location is nice... 0/5 stars from me.

We lived here for a year and the previous management was great. It was sold several months ago and ever since then it's gone downhill. Things were constantly broken and would take weeks, sometimes even months to fix. Meanwhile when we moved out we were charged hundreds of dollars for keys we were told hadn't been turned in (they had), and ridiculous amounts of cleaning. I was sent a picture of every surface that had dust or dirt on it as proof that cleaning needed to be done. Additionally, despite the 400 dollars in pet fees plus 20/month pet rent we paid through our lease we were then told the carpet had to be cleaned and that 400 dollars would cover none of that. We were also charged for the cover on the electrical fixtures outside that had fallen off and accidentally got packed when we moved. We were also charged for a section of flooring that had come up; this was due to this type of floor not being able to handle an office chair on it 24/7 (we were in a pandemic and didn't have much choice) and I don't believe this should have been considered our fault. All this from a company that couldn't be bothered to fix things in a timely fashion.

I moved out of this property in January 3, 2021. Was erroneously charged hundreds of dollars on my move our statement. Management has lied for the last 5 months that they’re correcting the issue. It is almost June 2021 and issue is still not resolved.

Terrible management. Knew our situation, told us they could hold the apartment and then bam. Didn’t help us, pushing us to move in before we could, and just took our money and it’s just ridiculous. Lies, so many fees they don’t tell you, the place is nice, but the management not so much. Took money from a military and didn’t bother helping.
