Terrible experience. Lived here a year and couldn’t wait to move out. They refused to fix the ac units. Had to call a company to look at it. They said it was just out dated units which resulted in my light bill being outrageous. The unit below us had a pipe burst and leaked into multiple units. They didn’t fix any of the water damage. They painted right over.

I lived at these apartments for 14 months. Great property, great location. However, things took a turn when I moved out. Not only did they not send me the final invoice in the alloted time by law (3 days), they also didn't send the final invoice to the forwarding address via USPS First Class mail, nor did they include the signature lines for me to dispute the charges. They also didn't allow me to walk the apartment as required as an option upon move out. After a handful of conversations and requests for them to follow GA law, they sent my account to collections. Please be warned as the property manager with 30 yrs experience (Donna) will pretend not to receive emails, etc. but don't let the actual lack of experience scare you away from the actual procedures/law. They will also label things as 'damaged' that are actually normal wear and tear, which is also against the law. You've been warned!

The unit was not thoroughly cleaned and painted. Upon moving in there were some minor repairs that should have been done before allowing someone to move in.The washing machine had to be replaced, the dish washer had to be repaired and the garage had a leak. On the positive the complex is clean, quiet and seemingly good neighbors.

Nearly unbearable during the summer due to AC not working and very poor attempts at repair. Difficulty in getting repair people to fix issues. Many stairs and cramped space. Difficult to go outside due to concern for safety. Tour looks nice but they certainly do not show you where you are actually going to live.

the property management of this place used to be helpful but the past year or so they have been awful. they dont help you with problems and the large company MAA acts like just that, no customer service.

I have been very satisfied with my home in SAO. My neighbors are quiet, respectful and friendly. The community, although about 25+ years old, is kept up very nicely. The floorplans are unique but comfortable and spacious. Parking can be tight on weekends but every apartment has a garage attached. My biggest disappointments are the refusal of some to pick up after their dogs and the fact they allow dangerous breed dogs to live on the property. It?s like a pit bull party up in this hizzy.

I have lived here for 6 years and I wouldn?t live anywhere else! The entire Sanctuary team treats you like family!

Sanctuary at Oglethorpe is a very quiet, clean complex with mainly professionals and adults without children. The maintenance staff is outstanding, and repairs are nearly always made as soon as the request is made.

My only complaints, which are minor, have been: 1. alcohol and foul language at the pool used by some residents and possibly non-residents 2. cars not parked in garages but parked in inappropriate places 3. gym could use some updating

It's been good. The management team is professional and very helpful. Would like to see an improvement or a better way of dealing with residents who do not pick up their dog poop. Not sure if additionally signs will help or cameras placed throughout the complex.

I have lived in a one bedroom apartment here for 25 weeks now and I have had a total of 20 roaches inside my apartment. Yes I utilize the properties pest control services on a monthly basis but still penetrating my apartment. Management staff is deceiving and unprofessional in the way they handle this situation. Their corporate offices can also care a less. Save yourself time and money and don't rent here!

Great place to live right out of college! Huge bedrooms, really nice appliances, cabinets, and countertops. Close to MARTA and Town Brookhaven. Gym & Yoga Studio are really nice with new equipment. Really great bang for your buck! Only thing it is really missing is a better pool, the current one is pretty small but it ultimately gets the job done.

My wife and I moved into a 1bd / 1bth at Sanctuary and stayed for the year. It was a wonderful experience. The management is great and readily available. The online tracking system for paying rent and putting in maintenance requests was super convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and clean with lots of pet-friendly walking area around. Overall, we had a great experience. However, the price-point is high as is with other Brookhaven locations.

The compiles is a safe and good place to live. The complex is almost 20 years old so showing its age. They have updated the units but it's time for a real frame up redo.
