Property Ratings at MAA Monthaven Park
The staff at the apartments was always great to deal with, but management does not communicate well and makes it very hard to navigate the payment process. I would not recommend renting from them if you do not like late fees, because it seems all of their policies are designed to make it hard for you to avoid them. I had two separate issues involving payments, one was trying to submit an online payment once I had gone past due, the other was a closeout fee that I missed an email and did not realize that I owed. During both instances the communication from management was absent, they were unbothered by my circumstance and were glad to take fees and give me negative marks on my credit rather than make any attempt to help me in either circumstance. The local folks, while nice were unable to bend the management's policies. As for the apartments themselves, I enjoyed my time there. Safe enough, plenty of kids running around playing, and the amenities were nice, although they were sometimes in disrepair.

While I like how the property looks I'm very unhappy with several items i.e.: dog crap all over the grass when the dog poop bin is 10ft away, proper lighting is still a factor and the major issue for me is I can hear every flipping foot step the renter above me takes and it's VERY frustrating when you are trying to relax!!!
Love my apartment and always feel safe. Repairs are made quickly and right the first time. Grounds are kept up.
The maintinence people are nice and are always courteous. Same for the office. If you tell them a concern they fox it immediately.
Overall, it?s a good place to live. My biggest concerns are hearing neighbors walking above me and lack of community activities

It has been entirely hassle free! I've lived here for a few years now, and I have no complaints for any part of the premises or my interactions with the staff. When I've needed assistance, every person I've come in contact with has been professional, friendly, and competent to the extent that my issue or whatever discrepancy was present got solved. The premises are quiet and well kept, communication about events and other matters is consistent and prompt. The actual apartments are wonderful! I love it here!

My fiance and I love living at Monthaven Park. The maintenance staff is terrific, the leasing staff is also wonderful. We feel safe and the property is taken care of very well! The only complaint I regularly have is the noise disturbances from our neighbors, however each time we have reported this the Monthaven staff worked to rectify the situation and the noise disturbances have gotten a little bit better.
My experience with MAA has been amazing. They are very timely with maintenance orders, and they are polite and very respectful. I have had no issues my entire year here at Monthaven Park.
I love living here and have been here for several years now.
Mostly good. The front office and maintenance are awesome. The only complaints I have are related to tenants. People that drive too fast, don't pick up their dog poop or leave cigarette butts everywhere.
I love about it. Nice pools , nice and clean gyms. The recreation area is nice too. But the poop all over the property is disgusting. Taking a stroll around the property I happened to step on poop. I just moved in November so I'm sure in the summer is disgusting .
I live in a 1 bedroom apt. I enjoy it here.

The office and maintenance staff are excellent, it's been a pleasure living here.

Very nice area and nice staff I really like the apartments only downside is we can't view the apartment we would be in till move in date Would like to see what I'm paying for before signing it . Overall I've had a good experience with the management and seems like a quiet and peaceful place
I really loved living here the first year I was here. This summer (2017) I have been so aggravated that I have considered breaking my lease. My building is next to the pool and there are people outside yelling and doing cannonballs at all hours of the night. I have called the courtesy officer regularly and I have complained to the office with no resolution to this. I work in surgery very early every morning and the last thing I want to do is be disturbed when I am trying to sleep. If you want a community with management that actually cares about the quality of life of the residents, stay away.
I absolutely love living in Monthaven Apartments! My roommate and I originally looked into being closer to Nashville (we were afraid for the drive) but we love our location. Yes, the drive can be a little much, but it's totally worth it for the security and safety I feel every night. I don't feel nervous walking to my car or getting home late. The neighborhood is quite and is close to everything you need. Plus the area is great for weekends. We can make the short drive into the city OR we can drive less than 10 minutes to a upscale restaurant, shopping, or movie theater. And the staff is extremely helpful and always willing to take my calls to answer questions. I've worked with Jessica on several occasions and she is the reason we selected the complex we did. I highly recommend this apartment complex
