Property Ratings at MAA Lakepointe
Front office, leasing agents, lack communication. Poor management. Building is very old. They have issues. Noisy area. Road noise. Safe area. Nice area. Lots of dogs. Easy access. I applied for an apartment but walked away, just not worth it. To many issues, with it. Would go into detail here about it but they don't let you. I posted a detailed review, with pictures, elsewhere.

Love my apartment but.i chose Lakepointe over the Vue because it had a pool and tanning bed. Bed has not worked in the 6 weeks since I moved in was told it can’t be fixed and they’re not gonna replace it! If the pool needs hauled they just gonna fill it in?

The front office staff and maintenance are reliable and quick. The few problems I had with my unit were taken care of quickly, some even after hours and on my schedule. Thanks!
Management is professional, friendly, and responsive. Not to mention they are very good at communicating with the community. Great location off Richmond Road, and the apartments themselves are spacious and have great closet space.
It's very quiet and clean. Maintenance doesn't take long to adjust an issue. The neighborhood is good
Windows leak energy like a sieve. I've covered them completely so that I have no view outside, I've put up thermal plastic. I have thermal drapes. STILL not energy efficient! Some neighbors aren't screened well, only criteria seems to be can they pay the first month's rent. They litter, are noisy at all hours; there ought to be a little appreciation for good people. Yearly, however, the expectation is for rent price to rise. You average the water usage together so it does no good to try to conserve (shutting off water in the shower as one soaps-up, for example), but you want residents to turn on faucet drips during cold weather. The monthly cost for fumigation is a waste of our money. So it seems like the cost keeps going up but the benefits aren't there, are even decreasing...
Fairly quiet, mostly nice neighbors. Unfortunately, the property doesn't enforce the leash and pet clean-up rules.
