Luxe at Market Common is a place worth calling home. The maintenance team is quick to repair any issue, big or small. The office staff is also exceptional as they bring a sense of community with numerous resident events monthly. PLUS the location is amazing! Nothing beats walking to the restaurants in Market Common, and you are just a short drive to the beach. AND you can’t talk about Luxe without mentioning the amazing amenities. They have a beautiful pool, dog park, and a huge gym. If you’re looking for a place, make sure it is on the list!

I moved to SC by myself and knew no one so I wanted to live in a complex in a safe and friendly neighborhood. The Luxe fits the bill. The location is perfect for walking to shops, restaurants and parks. And of course I love being 2 miles from the ocean! It took some time to get used to living in a large complex but the staff goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of and its a place you want to call home. A friend moved into a new complex nearby and what I see there vs. here as far as maintaining the grounds and apartments and the friendliness and communication abilities of all staff members - there is no comparison or denying that the Luxe is supreme.
I have lived here going on 2 years and absolutely love it here. The community is kept in great shape- it is constantly cleaned & maintained on top of multiple improvements made to the complex in the time I have lived here. I have never waited more than a day for a maintenance request, there are monthly activities for the residents, and the amenities (especially pool & gym) are fantastic I use them regularly. It’s great walking to market common and parking is never an issue. The staff- every single one of them are incredibly kind and professional. Highly recommend living here!
From the time we first walked through the property with Ashley to this day we have loved living at Luxe. The grounds, buildings, amenities, and even hallways are impeccably maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The management is communicative if there is anything coming up from community events to scheduled maintenance. And this is a dog friendly community like I've never lived in before.

I don’t normally leave a review for customers of mine, but I felt compelled to do so and give a big kudos to the property management staff members- for the work they do to maintain their luxury apartments and beautiful grounds. I’m a contracted Vendor that has provided full scope IT services to Luxe at Market Common for about 4 years now. All of the employees there, from the maintenance staff to Upper-level managers are without exception, the best folks to work for! And although I’m just an independent contractor, the staff goes out of their way to treat me as one of their own, they make me feel comfortable and are very friendly and communicative, offer any assistance I might need - and I’m very appreciative of those facts. It’s evident they go out of their way to treat the residents and the people who provide services for them with the utmost respect. Not to mention I get paid promptly and in full which is important when you’re a small business owner. I lived at the Luxe for three years until I bought a house. I loved living there. It was the best apartment complex I’ve ever lived at. The staff especially Taylor, Caroline and Ashley were always welcomed and helpful. I work from home and it was a great break in my day to go chat with them for a few minutes. They also planned really fun events and clearly love what they do. The pool is something I miss since I moved. It was a great way to meet people same with the dog park. I highly recommend the Luxe to anyone interested in moving there.

The grounds are kept clean and are beautiful. I love my 2 BR 2 bath apartment with balcony and the location of the Luxe is perfectly with so many attractions walking distance. But most of all I must mention the Office and Maintenance staff (Ashley, Taylor, Sonya, Thomas, Randy and Ken) who always have smiles and are very helpful and friendly and even know the Luxe residence names!!! The cost per square foot, and the amenities is competitive, and since it's a new(ish) place, most things are in good working order, and clean. BUT – there are extra fees they don't tell you about, that you must pay, that add up to an extra $50/mon. or $600/year. Like, you MUST pay for a "trash valet" even if you decline the service and take the garbage to the dumpster yourself ($35/mon.) and you MUST pay for pest control each month, even if you decline the service because you don't want an exterminator spraying stuff in your apartment ($10/mon.) and there's a $1.95 transaction fee when you pay your rent through the resident portal. That equates to an extra $46.95/mon. in fees that you have NO option to not pay.

However, we understand your concerns regarding additional fees, including the mandatory "trash valet" and pest control charges. These services are designed to enhance your living experience, but we recognize that transparency is crucial. We are continually working to improve communication about our policies and fees. Your input is valuable, and we will take it into consideration as we strive to enhance our residents' experience.
Aside from a lack of parking spaces at night, my nearly two years at Luxe have been mostly positive. However, I'm disappointed by how management handled a pet waste issue. I received a $150 fine because the management said waste found in the dog park matched my dog's DNA. As far as I know, I pick up everything aside from very loose stool that's impossible. I basically asked management for some grace because I'm a long-term resident with no history of issues. If I missed my dog pooping somewhere, it was an honest mistake. Management declined to waive the fee. I can't say management did anything wrong; they might get excuses all the time. But I was surprised by the rigid response to a resident with a clean, long-term relationship. That's not how I'd treat customers in my business. Consider that as you decide where to live.
