Luna Bear 454 West Brown Apartments

Worst apartment complex! New management every couple months! Maintenance is never steady . I would not recommend for anyone with kids to live here . Pool is Always dirty except during the winter because no one can swim in it. Roaches /full trash bins all the time. Dirty side walks . Management is horrible and can care less about tenants they pay people for good reviews on their personal website.

I’ve lived here almost a year, I’m currently looking to leave. It’s dirty inside and outside on the property there’s no where for kids to play so they’re constantly in the parking lot darting in front of cars they don’t move when you’re trying to enter they are all over people’s cars they recently started opening front doors and running and their parents are no where to be found. People drive through the parking lot like they’re on the 202. The price doesn’t match the condition of the property/apartment. Don’t be fooled by the pics you see cuz they don’t look this way. Neighbors are outside drinking around their cars playing loud music late into the night. The “assigned parking” spots are so small you cannot park without hitting the car next to you. Current manager does absolutely nothing. The one previous Angelica was amazing and had a handle on property. I’ve NOT had an issue with bugs. That’s the only positive

Infested with roaches. We had to break our lease not even 24 hours after signing it. Now they are trying to keep our money and completely stopped responding to calls and emails.

My name is Ashley, I have lived at 454 west for over 2 years now. I have never felt more at home, or more safe while at 454 west. This cute and small complex is tuck away and hidden, but it's a oasis in the heart of Mesa. However there aren't as many amenities as other complexes. But I believe that adds to the charm. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Go 454 West!

If you want to live in a spacious apartment with friendly neighbors and management that's top notch, then you've found your home. Any time I have had maintenance issues, which were minor, they have always been taken care of the same day, unlike larger communities I have lived in. Mesa Metro is close by and Mesa Riverview and Tempe Marketplace are just a few miles away for great shopping and entertainment.

I just signed my second year lease and couldn't be happier! Laura in the office is really great to work with; understanding and reasonable. She listens and works with you. The maintenance guys are really friendly and do very good work in the apartments. The apartment was very clean moving in, was ready when I was told it was going to be. My dog adores Laura! She always has cookies (milk bones) in the office for all of the dogs who like to visit. The dog park is small, but well maintained and my dog enjoys the chance to be off leash to play with the new friends he makes. There is a good pet policy here, don't be afraid to have your pit or chow meet with Laura! The kitchen is galley style, so not big, but the rest of the apartment is spacious. The pool is always clean and sparkling and wonderful for a swim. The laundry room is also clean, 24/7, and I've never had a problem getting a machine. Last note: I love my neighbors! Laura has worked hard to keep the "good" elements in the complex and there is a great mix of people here I am happy to live near.

From the owner's warmth and courtesy, to the maintenance staff's promptness and skills, to the neighbors welcoming, I guess I couldn't ask for more! The apartment is cute, though the kitchen is small... My dog loves it here, and visits the dog park regularly to meet the others. I am very happy here and would recommend it to all! :)

This complex caught my attention by the Renovations. I looked at the model because I was curious and quite pleased. I came back 2 wks later and moved in. The managers/maintenance are professional and go the distance to make things pleasant for their tennants. Also, this was the first time I did not have to buy a bunch of lightbulbs..the staff professionally clean the units and equip the apartments so your move is easier. I highly recommend and especially if you have pets, their pet policy is good.
