Lofts at Lyman Mill

My fiance and I lived at the Lofts at Lyman Mills for two years. The only left was because we had to move for a job. Our apartment was as advertised and very spacious. Whenever we had difficulty with an appliance or needed assistance, the maintenance was very responsive and during weekdays would come the day of. He lives in the apartment so takes pride in keeping the tenants happy. The management is responsive and was flexible with our move in and move out date. There is ample parking without paying for a reserved spot, never had to worry about finding one. The apartment was very safe. The apartment is very clean, with staff cleaning the apartment daily and the gym has lots of machines. The only downside is there is not a lot of things within walking distance, but all a short drive away. Overall would recommend living here to friends!

I am living in Lofts at Lyman Mill since 2021. I am always happy and satisfy from everything inside the building starting from the management Especially Mrs. Marianne the property manager, she is very kind lady, friendly,helpful and professional. Mr. Douglas is a great person, he is always ready to help for any maintenance issue and maintain safety and security. Lofts at Lyman Mill not just apartments to live in, the building is like your home.

The management at the property is beyond rude! Mind you, I am not a tenant I’m a visitor and I cannot believe the interaction I just witnessed with the current manager and a tenant. The current manager rudely refused to hold the door then made rude remarks towards the tenant. Also, on a few of my visits pass the office during office hours I have heard the manager screaming and talking poorly about people. As someone who has been around the property for years I have never seen the management act this way. Very sad. If you are looking for a friendly management and environment, don’t look here.

Nice apts studios 1 1bdr and 2bdr. Clean place to live. Lots of security cameras watching your every move and lots of fines for many violations if caught on cameras. Hard rain and wind brings in rain water to some units. Residents say no repair work has been performed to date for leaky ceiling roofs to their units. Be careful what unit you occupy.

Beautiful apartments, great community rooms including a secure mailroom and gated entry into the parking lot. Friendly staff that always answers any questions right away. There have also been multiple issues while living here but I am not here to bash the place so I am going to jump to the biggest problem worth mentioning which is how paper thin the walls are. We are able to hear word for word conversations above and next door including personal information like one’s social and date of birth making privacy a major issue. Noises heard include even the more quiet ones like snoring and sneezing so it of course only worsens from there. I’ve confirmed with a few other tenants I’m not the only one with this issue and though there has been talk of fixing the issue action has yet to come. Reading the other reviews, it’s clearly a great place to live and worth checking out! I also know some tenants on the top floor and assume maybe even those with certain floor plans don’t have this issue at all!

Over the weekend I toured a lot of properties looking for an apartment, but when I went to Lyman I knew this was the place I needed to be! I really loved the amenities, especially the large gym and also the gates and the feeling of being secure. Very excited about the outside grill and fire pit area too! It was Wendi that made the difference, you can tell how much she cares about her tenants and I really love her enthusiasm. Talking to her I just felt like this was my new home! Unfortunately, I’m on the waitlist and I’m hoping something will come available in my time frame.
