Downtown Flagstaff is just over a mile north, and Northern Arizona University is about a half a mile from Woodlands Village. With a large shopping district in the heart of the neighborhood, Woodlands Village provides easy access to Walmart, Bashas, Staples, and popular restaurants like Café Rio Mexican Grill. Residents can quickly reach the Walkup Skydome to cheer on the NAU Lumberjacks football and basketball teams. As part of NCAA Division I, the Lumberjacks participate in the Big Sky Conference.
