My husband and I grew up in this neighborhood and our families continue to live there. It does feel dodgy at times (especially over by the apartments on Ellis) but overall it's quiet and filled with a diverse group of people. At times when there are lots of renters, and the homes get shabby. Crime on Reservoir can be heard at night. People overall care for their homes. There is a NHA with a neighborhood pool. 15 minutes can take you anywhere in town from here. Best part about living here is the mixed bag of homes. Homes have been invested in and you can turn a profit if you put some money in (parents did it twice in this neighborhood.)

I live in an okay area, but it would be better if the police patrol my area at night.

The local businesses around here for the most part have been around for years. So most of them know what they are doing.
