Waddell is a small suburb about 30 miles northwest of Phoenix. Waddell is an upscale community boasting large Spanish-style homes and luxury apartments complemented by palm-tree-lined streets, cacti, and scenic mountain views. Although Waddell is great for all renters, this area is a haven for nature lovers. Along with an abundance of neighborhood parks, Waddell boasts easy access to White Tank Mountain Regional Park, a picturesque desert park great for hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding, and more. The community is also convenient to the Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium and Safari Park, which houses the largest collection of exotic animals in the state (and if you’re lucky, you can feed some of the animals)! During summer, residents can take a day trip up to Lake Pleasant for fishing, camping, scuba diving, and boating. Renters, especially commuters, enjoy proximity to Phoenix. By using U.S. Highway 303 and Interstate 10, Waddell residents can drive into the city within 35 minutes or less.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
