There are great opportunities for hiking and experiencing the outdoors in Tullahoma. There’s plenty of green space within the city’s borders, including Waggoner Memorial Park and Short Springs Natural Area, but to the north and southeast you’ll find Normandy Lake and Woods Reservoir. Both are popular aquatic destinations, but Normandy Lake hides picturesque waterfalls that you won’t find anywhere else. George Dickel and Jack Daniel’s have distilleries nearby as well.
Tullahoma’s school district ranks high with parents and kids alike, and the center of town will make a weekend at home far from mundane. Nashville is just an hour and a half away should you need an escape.
